For your own sake, don't go here! I worked with Alex and he was incredibly friendly, however, there was a miscommunication and I feel I should have been reimbursed for that miscommunication. I feel totally taken advantage of and ripped off by the owner, Mike. Long story short, I asked to have my engine cleaned because of an oil leak. By having it clean, it will be easier for me to determine where the leak is coming from. When I got home and opened the hood of my car, the top of my engine was still dirty. I called to let them know that my engine was not cleaned as I had previously asked them to do and paid them $65 to do. I didn't think it was a big deal, I figured they just forgot to clean it because we all make mistakes. Except, Mike reassured me that his guys cleaned the bottom of the engine. But I asked them to "clean the engine", expecting that the top of the engine would be cleaned as well. I wish Alex would've made it clear that only the bottom of the engine will be cleaned. It should have been made clear to me that the top of the engine would not be cleaned as well.
This is all fine, whatever. What I did not like is how Mike handled the situation as he went about it in a shady way. He said that if I get my car power cleaned and I show him the receipt, only then will he reimburse me. Unfortunately, that cleaning costs about $150. That is a ridiculous offer. Why do I need to go spend more money just so he will reimburse me? Why doesn't he just reimburse me now for the miscommunication? I believe it is because he knows that it is unlikely I will follow through with that offer and reimbursement will not take place. Also, there were a couple of things he said that I didn't appreciate. He speaks in a tone that makes him appear as a nice guy but I could feel the fakeness from him and insult behind those comments. Like telling me, "I didn't realize you are trying to make your 2010 Subaru Impreza a show car. That is the only reason why people get their engines power washed". That sarcastic comment was unnecessary because obviously, I'm not trying to make my beat-up twelve-year-old Subaru a show car.
I was going to have them do more repairs on my car in the near future but I will definitely not be back.

They took advantage of me.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!
I took my jeep to this location and paid $1600 to have it serviced and parts replaced. They had the car for 2 days and I picked it up... I had to take it back a couple of days later because it was still making a funny sound, multiple engine lights stayed on and it was now smoking out of the tail pipe. On my 2nd visit to have this fixed they said they were unable to fix the problem and I would have to take it to the dealership.
After multiple attempts to talk with someone about refunding my money because they not only were unable to fix the car, they made the problem worse. The car has been undriveable and I had to rent a car while I waited for my appt at the dealer. Today I had to have the car towed to the dealer because it was smoking so badly it was not drivable. I finally received a call from Alex and Mike at Smittys after I had sent multiple messages to them & they both said there was nothing they could do to help me. Mike states the problem was not theres and "they had fixed the problem in the first visit". At the end of the conversation Mike gave a sarcastic offer to refund me for the $75 oil change but refused any other assistance.
I'm out almost $8k because of the shitty work they did on my car and the shitty customer service. This place is over priced and takes advantage of female customers. I felt there was nothing I could say or do to get help. They completely took advantage of me and my situation. Shame on them.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.
I've been taking my cars to Smitty's for 10 years now. They are friendly and polite, and always give an honest assessment of what really needs doing, and what what can be put off for a while. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Had my transmission worked on here a couple days ago and they fixed it right up. Great service and great staff. I will always keep bringing my vehicles here to be worked on. Keep up the outstanding job.
Everything couldn’t have been better. Employees are refreshingly friendly and helpful. Work done quickly and professionally. Smitty’s provides trustworthy, honest, and reliable service.
Spoke to Leslie's husband. He said they have used the business for many years and have never been let down. The staff is clean, timely, and the prices are reasonable.
Spoke with Bill's wife. She said they have used this business for 25 years. The staff is honest, reliable, and quick. The service they receive is excellent.
I had my car towed in because the brakes went out. After I picked it up and after a $500 plus bill, I had to have it towed in again a few days later. After picking it up again and a $200 bill, you assured me it was fixed. However it was still leaking brake fluid. I gave up and sold the car to Carmax after filling it up with more brake fluid. I have before got bad service in the last four plus years
