I know nothing about cars.
Car service was my former husband's job. I know nothing. A friend whose son had a BMW dealership recommended Shawnee.

I've always felt comfortable with them. Never felt like they were trying to get me to pay for work that wasn't needed. No pressure. They do good work at reasonable prices, IMO. No complaints from me.

Cracked gas cap quickly identified and repaired
When my 24 year old car’s Check Engine light came on, I prepared to hear the car was near its end. I left the car with Shawnee. By early afternoon they identified a cracked gas tank cap as the culprit, replaced the cap with a new one, charged a reasonable amount, and had me on my way again. Prompt, efficient, accurate, congenial service, as usual. Thank you!

Great Customer Service
I brought my car in for a check-up as occasionally it would have trouble starting.
It turns out that it just needed a new battery. It was replaced and I was on my way. For peace of mind, they also checked the starter, alternator etc. as it is an older model. Thanks Shawnee Team!

Thanks for getting me in immediately when my battery died. Only wish we could have predicted it few months ago when I had some concerns, and saved me the stress of having the battery totally die on me while 45 min away from home. All worked out, appreciate the quick battery change.

Car inspection
Needed car checked for a long road trip. Scheduling was easy and got the car back in 3 hours. Sure wish they would provide senior discounts though.

Springs repair
No complaints about service or attitude, but $75.00 to confirm my complaint seems excessive. The total bill of essentially $1,000 to replace 2 springs in the rear also seems excessive. Would like to have known how long it took. However, we have depended on Shawnee for literally decades, trust them and are grateful they are still in business.
