Hit a curb, fast diagnosis and my overdue Review
I hit a curb turning into a parking lot a week prior to hearing a “croaky frog” on my rear passenger side.
For context: I never had the best of luck with cars in the past, and didn’t have family or friend connections with strong, affordable sources. I was recommended Scotty’s from a coworker and found they were my first certified Triple AAA shop. I found later that’s a hard certification to get.

Sam and their shop foreman Brian are always so thorough in asking questions, to determine sounds, issues, and timing. The employees overall are always respectful too.
Their service always diagnoses the problem timely and are humble enough to say if they can’t fix it. They share the knowledge on the problem and allow you to make the educated decision for your vehicle- not the other way around! Where some shops can pressure you to making ‘their’ recommendations.
With my history prior of mechanics that are common in pressuring issues you may not know- Scotty’s is honest in their empathetic diagnosis. In the long run they save you money, keep you safe, and treat your car correctly.
They treat you like family and always remember little details about your car. They send coupons too! I love the reminders and put them on my fridge in case somehow I need them!
Being a woman who knows little about cars, Sams help and communication via phone or shops texting phone reassured me tremendously. Prior too; repair shops would always try to keep fixing it, digging into their recommendations, would not check in after the repair, etc.
It’s bittersweet since choosing them to treat my car for the past three years, I don’t get to see them often. (Because they fix it right every time) My previous mechanics I would see at least twice every 6 months. Whether there was an issue or me feeling unsure about a light or sound. I never have these second thoughts since being treated at Scotty’s.
I would hands down recommend.
