Transmission World was opened in 1974. Many people may remember the first location on Highway 97 across from the old Mountain View Mall. In 1998, Transmission World found a new home in the newly constructed shop located on Service Road. Scott Wyke bought Transmission World from its previous owner and blended it with his thriving General Transmission World was opened in 1974. Quick, honest and reliable.
This is the second time I’ve been into SP Auto. Everything from scheduling the appointment to paying the invoice was simple, straightforward and honest. They’re good people that do great work. Glad to have them in town.

2011 Nissan Xterra w/ idling problems
My car would struggle at idle and drop to around 500 rpm and sometimes die on me mid traffic when stopped. I looked for an air leak, replaced all sensors that corespondent with problem, and eventually gave it to Davis and Clark auto. They suck. My buddy recommended me to SP and they had it back to me the next day. I drove it back with close to zero issues (everything I complained about was resolved, my car is beat). Yall are awesome

Transmission servicing
I was able to schedule this servicing on short notice so that friends could give me a ride before they move. Great service and Lacey is very friendly and fun. Love the office dogs!

Amazing Honest Shop
Living on the road means I’ve been to a lot of shops, and this is one of the best! They were able to squeeze me in and get me back on the road quickly!

So knowledgeable and explained/showed me everything they were doing. They don’t cut corners at all and know their stuff with fair & honest pricing!

Transmission and Axle work
Blew up my transmission in my truck and from time of first call to having my truck back, it was less than two weeks for a full transmission rebuild. Lacy is always great about answering the phone and always super helpful and nice.

Yes. Pick these guys cuz THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!
Took my jeep to these amazing people when nobody else could figure out what was going on.. Seriously, long story short, SP fixed my jeep, didn't overcharge me, or take advantage of a situation where I wouldn't know the difference if they did!
I am so grateful for these people!! Take your transmission issues to these guys. They got you!!
