First i would like to say The tech that worked on your FORD truck has been ASE master certified since 1992, had worked for Ford for 12 years, and has been with Sand Lake Automotive for 22 years. Sand Lake has been voted best in Alaska the last 5 years running by our customers and community. I do believe if your heading (Liars cheats and bad young unproven techs) was true, that would not be the case.
We have seen your Ford twice in 2 years. The first time was for a 4wd concern.

CK'D 4WD INOP - ONLY 4WD LAMP ON WHEN TURNING KEY ON. POSITION LAMP STAYS OFF WHEN SELECTING 4WD MODES.
SCAN TESTED 4WD MODULE - NO COMMUNICATION AND SCAN TOOL WON'T POWER UP.
FOUND 20AMP DLC/CIG. LIGHTER FUSE BLOWN. REPLACED FUSE.
SCAN TESTED 4WD MODULE - STILL NO COMM.
ABS HAS U1900 (DATA LINE FAULT).
ACCESSED 4WD MODULE AND TESTED CIRCUITS - LINE SHORTED TO POWER.
CK'D WIRING HARNESS - DATA LINE SPLICE CORRODED NEAR BASE OF A PILLAR (SEVERAL OTHER WIRES REPAIRED WITH BUTT CONNECTORS).
BRIEFLY TIED CIRCUITS TOGETHER AND SCAN TESTED 4WD - NOW CAN COMMUNICATE WITH 4WD MODULE BUT SETS C1979 (IWE SOLENOID) DTC.
TESTED IWE SOLENOID - INTERNALLY OPEN.
NEED TO START WITH REPLACING IWE SOLENOID AND REPAIR WIRING THEN RE-CHECK FOR ANY ADDITIONAL ISSUES.

FOUND 20AMP MINI CIG. LIGHTER FUSE BLOWN.
INSPECTED CIG. LIGHTER - SOCKET FILLED WITH ASH AND ELEMENT LOOKS BURNED UP/MELTED. BLEW DIRT OUT OF SOCKET.
REPLACED FUSE - DLC NOW WORKS.
RECOMMEND REPLACING CIG. LIGHTER ELEMENT. IF FUSE POPS AGAIN, WILL NEED CIG. LIGHTER ASSEMBLY REPLACED.
CK'D VEHICLE - HAS CONSTANT MISFIRE AND CK. ENG LAMP ON.
SCAN TESTED - CURRENT CODES P1000; P0132 (B1S1 CIRCUIT HIGH); P0405 (EGR A CIRCUIT LOW); AND P1132 (B1S1 INDICATES RICH).
CK'D MODE 6 DATA - MISFIRE MONITOR NOT RUNNING DUE TO TRIM CODES.
CK'D SCAN DATA - B1 FRONT O2 SENSOR REPORTING 1.6v.
CK'D EGR/DPFE VALVE/SENSOR - FOUND 1 DPFE HOSE LAYING ON FUEL INJECTORS (FELL OFF).
SOMEONE REPLACED PREVIOUS DPFE HOSE WITH RUBBER HEATER HOSE. SUSPECT HOSE HAD GOTTEN HOT AND FELL OFF.
INSTALLED NEW, DPFE HOSE.
CK'D CYL. CONTRIBUTION - #2 CYL. DEAD.
INSPECTED CYL #2 PLUG/COIL - BOOT/COIL SATURATED WITH COOLANT. NO SPARK FROM COIL.
REPLACED PLUG AND COIL - MISFIRE GONE.
PRESSURE TESTED COOLING SYSTEM - LEAKING FROM FRONT OF INTAKE.
NEEDS B1S1 O2 SENSOR REPLACE.
NEEDS INTAKE MANIFOLD REPLACED.
SHOULD REPLACE REMAINING BOOTS & PLUGS.
