Trouble with the curve.....
While driving my old 2006 BMW I had a major malfunction where the driveshaft bearing failed, made the shaft wobble and chewed up my differential pinion gears like shredded wheat! I was coming from UpTown on to Slidell on a Friday evening in traffic.....While I KNEW something major had occurred I was able to attend a dinner in Slidell anyway with the vehicle. Needed big time help, called Owner of Rusty Knuckle who took me in early Monday morning and had me back on the road with efficient service of a big repair and at a very good price~! Now I don't know what some expect from their mechanics but my experience with Rusty Knuckle was directed and repaired with NOTHING to complain about and good info along the way, keeping me updated and vehicle back to me quickly! I'm a believer in solid service and that's what my experience consisted of! Thanks to Mike and Joe and the NOLA Auto TEAM!

To squash issue please
Again read my previous reviews, thinking now clearer. The over charge of 1400.00 I would like to discuss and attempt somehow to retrieve what 600..so I can be squared or whole again.

miscommunication¿
I haven't yet heard back from Michael to date. I will not call to attempt to squash this issue. I had to pull a 50 g credit card out of his grip 1st, lose 1400.00. and I am the one confused? But talking respectfully and allowing to understand what happened is the key here..

to clear misunderstanding
Never thought I would have this issue, invoice wasn't what we agreed to, total lack of communication. I went to tire town people been doing my work for years. Did an inspection made a report a diagram all that, greased tightened things, explained it should straighten ok. Then again lack of communication NEVER once Michael called to adjust ticket as we had agreed. The invoice was done shady at best I was very lucky to leave with a 1400.00 dollar bill bill, cause anywhere else in town I know I've done it twice since this. It's bout 250 to 550 total. And please understand I was bout to allow them to tap my card x2 at 10's...I know there is a God but I knew that all along amen

misunderstanding vender not communicating well
Please understand I am confused, WE agreed verbally and what was to be done. Clearly and upper ball joints IS what I was told NOT what was invoiced very upsetting. I know what upper ball joints cost. if vendor WOULD HAD said front end 4 grand plus I WOULD had never gave him 10 g's.. this is simple math. I knew and know that tire town and there vendors that done the front end TWICE in 6 years only 8 thousand miles. I got them to look at it, they wrote up an estimate and statement for me. Then the fun began stopping a Platinum card, the slow process of lack of communication continued. NEVER did Michael or his people. ATTEMPT to correct ANY WAY shape or form with me. Now the invoiced amt I agreed to I AM needing to know about I am lucky blessed No now handing over 10 g's. But in my mind NOW is the best time to squash this Michael. Respectfully

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH RUSTY KNUCKLE GARAGE
BEWARE THIS SHOP DOES NOT DESERVE A 1 STAR RATING. I SENT MY 100K CLASSIC CAR TO RUSTY KNUCKLE GARAGE FOR A MINOR STARTER ISSUE AND A TUNE. THEY ORIGINALLY STATED THAT THE WORK WOULD TAKE ONE MONTH SINCE THEY WERE BACKED UP, HOWEVER THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR A TOTAL OF THREE MONTHS WITHOUT DOING ANY REPAIR WORK TO MY VEHICLE. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE OTHER CLASSIC CAR ENTHUSIAST WHEN I WAS TOLD "WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BRING YOUR CAR THERE". "THESE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING SHORT OF INCOMPETENT RACIST THAT WILL NOT WORK ON VEHICLES OWNED BY MINORITIES.
