Stay clear
We have had one awful experience after another. It doesn't matter if you go to GMC service, Kia , or Hyundai. We have had problems with oil covering the underside of our vehicles each and every time we take one of our 3 vehicles in to be serviced. They have had to come out with a flat bed to get one of our vehicles to fix mistakes they made. They have had to come clean oil off our driveway a couple of times. We have had oil all over our garage floor. It goes on and on. Each time they promise it will never happen again. September 26, it has happened again. We are done! We have given them chance after chance to show us they value our business and they fail each time. I recommend you find a facility to service your car that truly does care about their customer, the customers investment (vehicle), and your continued business. Ray Skillman has proven they do not have integrity or respect for their customers.

bad customer service.
I bought a brand new Hyundai from here. first, they send less money to the state of Minnesota DMV for my vehicle registration & number plate. talk to one of the managers about it. the manager said you go ahead & pay $70.00 to MN DMV & we will reimburse you. never got my money back yet. My son-in-law refers his friend to buy a vehicle from there so he is supposed to get a $100.00 referral bonus he never gets yet. my salesperson ordered a Mud Guard for my SUV. talk to him 10 times. always say we send to your Mn Address never god it. I don't want anybody to buy a car from them.

Righted a Wrong
I was contacted by a gentlemen who was not preset when all of the trouble occurred. He was very apologetic and immediately sent me a check for the expense that I was out for fixing the vehicle. He restored my faith in this dealership and I would recommend them is a person is looking for a vehicle.

bad service
They did an alignment and wheel balance before I purchased the vehicle. I had to have aligned and balanced because it drove so bad. They would not reimburse me a penny of the $140.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service after the sale. Said they aligned and balance the wheels. I asked twice before my son bought it, who lives in Tennessee. After being assured the service was performed, he purchased it and then I picked it up last Wednesday and drove it here to Terre Haute. Alignment is off and the wheels are out of balance. They told me that they would not compensate me for the $140 I paid to get it fixed in Terre Haute. I was not going to drive an hour and a half back over there the way it was driving. The sales manager said the service was done, so basically said screw you. I sent a message to the automotive group but received no response. Surprise!!! So I would not buy anything from any of the Ray Skillman dealerships and I would definitely not have any service done there because they will not stand behind their work.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUPER STARS!!
I had a tire issue and had to come back the next day after the tire came in. The level of service i received from Robin and Kourtney was FIRST CLASS!! They were extremely busy and yet continued to give outstanding service to those of waiting and callers on the phone. I don't know how they do it! They remembered my name, car issue, and acted like i was the only customer every encounter i had with them. I could not be more impressed!!
A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO ROBIN AND KOURTNEY!!

Help for travelers
I’d like to thank Robin and the team at Skillmann Hyundai for helping a couple of travelers off the highway. My husband and I were traveling from Illinois to a funeral in Columbus when our new Sante Fe with 8,000 miles started vibrating and the check engine light came on. We found your place and drove in. Robin immediately took the car and ran some kind of diagnostic test on it. Luckily your technicians were able to clear the code. We are now back on the road and would like to thank Robin and your team again for such prompt service!

Extremely poor service
When I bought my Kia Soul last week I was told by the sales rep, Mr. Closson that the Key Fob didn’t work and he’d get me a new one. Since then I’ve left 5 messages with only one reply. Now the key has fallen out of the fob and I’m starting the car with pliers. Nothing has been done to fix this and I am one very angry customer. Mr. Closson fix this as you promised!

Great Experience!
I purchased a Ford Explorer from Darla Pieper at Ray Skillman in 2010. This year when I was ready to make another purchase, I reached out to Darla. She listened to what I was looking for and found just the thing! We extremely pleased with our Hyundai Tucson with all the bells and whistles!! And for the right price! I highly recommend Ray Skillman and Darla Pieper in particular!

Purchase of used vehicle
Extremely poof customer service..I purchaed a Jerp Wrangler A.J..Gratz. He promised to fix several things wrong with the Jeep. The dealership and A.J. faiiled to keep their promise to fix the issues so I am stuck with the Jeep. Every staff member I spoke with was rude and dismissive of my concerns. I would not recommend the dealership to anyone!

Oh we will fix it
Bought 2 vehicles from here not happy still have issues with my truck no response about it just it is what it is!!!! An then the car wow wax everywhere an still dirty an to top it off both vehicles was delivered to me with stock tags an price tags still in the windows!! Haven’t had the truck a month an the brakes need replaced an the oil filter for a rusty!!!!
