uly 7th 2021 Dan Durand after understanding i would like more space he then brought me one vehicle i did like an SUV he said he personally owned as well he explained a few features , we then proceeded with our process that my bank did try to refuse on multiple occasion due to bad reviews , i insured the bank i was satisficed so they did proceed with the loan , Dan did express the vehicle had a new set of tires , and had been fully inspected by the dealership i asked for extra warranties he offered GWC warranty lasting up to five years i have a Premier packaging including the dealership warranty , i was never offered the Gap coverage i was told to sign pretty much skipped the entire section , if offered i would've added it onto my loan i did test drive the vehicle and noticed the drivers door latch was broken when you open or close the door the latch would not stick ,i didn't think it was a big deal The same day i did take my vehicle to a nearby autozone to have them check everything was good on the surface. Exactly one week later around July 15th 2020 i did contact Dan to inform him my vehicle was not driving properly and i highly assume it is my transmission , Dan schedule an appointment i did pay $120 for a diagnostic , they said the SUV has safety control so the latch needs to be fixed , when doors are open it cause the vehicle to stall , warranty didnt cover i did pay $254.86 . July 22nd 2020 i did return to the dealership for rubbing noise from the front end , i did express i was worried about he transmission , they did test drive the SUV and said the noise is from uneven tires although i was told all sets were new , i did replace those tires $573.97 for the front and estimated $450 with discount for the back the tires were so stripped of thread on the inside it caused the vehicle to drive improperly . Personally still concerned about my transmission i was still obedient in purchasing what they said was wrong , i was told i needed an front end alignment another estimated $100. vehicle continuing to stall even more i took the vehicle back and some what demanded my transmission gets replaced after multiple conversations of nothing , they finally did admit the transmission has been slamming into gear when shifting into drive , they did acknowledge that no codes were read as i had stated previously because i had been to another licensed mechanic just to take a drive he to did agree it was the transmission , no codes were never current during the multiple diagnostic i paid for , they also found the front axle shift was stripped and not covered by warranty i paid another $166.04 this was Dec 14th 2020. The transmission was replaced and covered by warranty , i paid car insurance , car note and for a rental car with no reminbrement , fully insured they did not find a rental car i was told being fully insured i could get one from dealership i paid an estimate $1000 for a month while it was being fixed . March 26th 2021 i did pay for a disagonic at Ford in Flushing due to loud noise and vehicle slightly stalling , Ford instantly asked if i had recent transmission work done i did say Yes by my dealership they informed me the loud noise was coming from a cracked Exsault due to an improperly installed transmission , screws were missing through the body , but mainly an exsault and transmissions screw was missing ,i did take the video ford provided to randy wise service manager Andrew, because the vehicle loud noise was inconsistent at the moment it did not make a sound he said he could not help me or to drop the car to be looked at , still not being able to provide a rental car i had to drive to work full time 7 days a week 12 hours shift and fulltime student not having extra money to pay outta pocket i had no chose but to drive When i did have time due to much misleading information i took it to ford i did pay $447.11 for the exsaut screw they ordered , air filter, back brakes and rotators , i called my extended warranty GWC and asked for screws they said they would not replace the new transmission they sent a few months back did include new screws. Service manage Andrew did say he would remineburst me for the exsault screw (i told him of both screws he said he would no remibrese because they never did anything with the exsault) he did not understand you do have to remove the exsault get to the transmission ,replaced improperly caused a cracks in the exsult following missing scerws. he said since the vehicle did not make a noise he could not help , current day turbo is going out , steerling wheel is locking , burning smells from the front end , stalling while driving , being ignored by Dan and Andrew , i feel unsafe and uncomfortable driving .
