If you're tired of being treated like a number by your mechanic, this is the place to come.
My service experience at Rainier Automotive LLC has been nothing short of amazing. I started coming here last year when the mechanic that used to repair my Mercedes for the car's former owner showed no interest in continuing to work on the car for me because it was clear he didn't like working on Mercedes in the first place. Rainier Automotive on the other hand showed no hesitation in that regard and all service I've received on both of my from Rainier on both the Mercedes and my Lexus has been top notch.

I particularly like that Rainier follows the maintenance requirements of both my cars in detail, including providing a listing of future service needs based on mileage or timing of when previous work was performed. However, the one thing I'm most impressed with is the friendliness, professionalism and integrity of the entire staff. Whether working with Jeff or any other staff member, I know I'm good hands. When I observed how much time and sensitivety Jeff showed when assisting a widowed customer deal with her car perplexing issue, it just reconfirmed that I was definitely in the right place.

If you've been seeking a reliable and trustworthy auto repair shop, try this one.

Amazing work on my pickup
Jeff and the team at Rainier Automotive LLC were helpful and kept me informed throughout my repairs on my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup. My situation was pretty unique due to extreme rust on the underside of the vehicle caused by road salt before the truck came to Washington State. The rust had compromised the transmission cooler likes causing one to burst on the freeway, at night, in the rain on Christmas. The folks at Rainier Automotive LLC completed a thorough inspection and made recommendations of areas and systems also compromised by the rust. The repairs were completed and I again have confidence in my vehicle.

I had asked them to do a certain service for my automobile, but they told me it wasn't necessary because my vehicle didn't have what I was asking for. Where I feel like other places would have charged me for that service, Ranier automotive explained why it was not necessary. All my vehicles will be going there from now on.

Rainier Auto To The Rescue
The night after The Bomb Cyclone my truck broke down and had to leave it . The city was in a black out due to power outage . The next day I returned with a friend to pull it 2 miles to Rainier Auto . I arrived to find out that someone tried to steal it , and damaged the steering column and ignition so a tow truck was now needed . We drove to Rainier Auto , told them what happened , handed them my keys , they arranged to have Maple Valley Towing pick it up ( for $130.00 , they get 5 stars too ) and we went home to tend to storm damage. Most businesses were closed that day but Rainier Auto was open . Lucky For ME.

Communication wasn’t great
Communication was not great. No one called to tell me my car would be kept over the weekend. Although an email was sent during the middle of the day, no one called to tell me my car was ready to pick up.

Overcharged for diagnostic
I was told my car would be given a diagnostic and then I would be given a phone call. My car was put through a gamut of tests and I was charged $370 just to get the estimate. In addition, I dropped the car off on Friday and did not hear back until tuesday.
