Unfortunately I had an unexpected poor experience
Hello. My name is Alex Pereira and I was in your shop on 12/28/21 for a coolant leak from the water pump. The water pump assembly, along with gaskets and water pump belt were replaced as clearly stated in repair order #137212. I remember talking to you, since you were my service advisor at that moment and your name is in the repair order as mentioned above.
Yesterday on 9/22/23 I went to your shop for the same apparent water leak that started about a month ago. I’ve been refilling the expansion tank to keep up to the recommended level.
However, your service advisor, I believe his name is Ivan, told me that the coolant leak is not from the water pump itself, but from the gasket or O ring of a crossover tube pipe going to the water pump / casing. And is not covered under warranty...What?!?!?!?!...
The repair order work description clearly says that the “The water pump assembly, along with gaskets and water pump belt were replaced” and tested…
I expect “The Car Clinic of Miami, "Where Honesty Meets Quality” to honor the written pledge and the 3 years / 36000 miles warranty, without proceeding any further in the legal complaint claim process.
Unfortunately Mr. Ivan lacks Professional Customer relations and knowledge of Warranty evaluation. Even sounds like he is doing every possible way to avoid complaints from customers to reach the attention of Fernando Aguilar by always saying he is not there. He says he will return your phone call and all kinds of stories...So far for two consecutive weeks...
Why do I say this?...Because I am a retired Automotive Professional with a solid proven experience of 35 years career in the field…From Automotive technician to Dealer Service Manager, Warranty Administrator, Automotive Technology Instructor, Overseas Service Representative and much, much more.

When the dealership failed The Car Clinic prevailed. I had a problem with a new car with a check engine light and the dealership next appointment was in a month. I was concern if can be serious and waiting to long was not an option. I made an appointment with The Car Clinic which was reasonable. Keep me updated on the status of the car and basic explanation of what happen and what was required to repair it. So simple and easy. Great attention to customer service.

Best shop in West Kendall.
I took my truck in for regular maintenance and service, and also to replace parts. Mr. Yero and the team were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. I was provided honest and straightforward quote/descriptions for the work and was kept up to date on any issues found. It's hard to find a quality and honest shop that will be truthful with all aspects of any repair and this shop definitely gets it. I take all of my vehicles to this shop and will keep doing so as long as I can.
