Good day. I was a long time fan of this shop with the repairs made to my old 90 vanagon so I thought I would bring my 91 to the shop for some pre-Hawaii shipment preparation. Firstly the work that was performed is top notch. I had them replace all coolant hoses, install the stainless steel pipes from front to back and replace the old stock radiator with a new one. I was told this should take a couple of weeks.
I had also requested to have pricing for changing out the shocks as well as the metal fuel line adapter. Needless to say I never was contacted back about this and after almost 2 months there, I figured it was time to pick up the van. I needed it by Saturday to load into a shipping container. I called ahead to advise of my intentions and I feel like this is where I am different than most and expect some service above and beyond. Firstly, I would wash off my customers vehicle that’s been exposed to the elements for over 6 weeks. I brought it in nice and clean, would have like to see some effort for the over 3k I spent. Also it would have been nice to inform me you were closed for lunch. I arrived and sat for 45 minutes. Waiting. Then to my again disappointment, they didt have the vehicle started and warmed up as if ready to go.

Tried to make an appointment with local BMW dealership with no response re cost and what the 30K service included
Live a couple blocks from Performance Haus and decided to stop in and talk with the young man at the service desk
Assured me that they can perform the BMW 30K and he knew what was involved/recommended.
Dropped off the car in the AM and picked up in the PM as promised

Tire 🛞 flat that got worse
I had a slow tire leak and was driving to Performance Haus to get MB fixed when the tire lost all pressure… Rolled in on the Rim. Spoke with Mike (owner) and he got the ball rolling . Then gave me a ride back home. They sent me an estimate by text, I approved and they replaced and balanced . Mike then picked me up without requesting … Very gracious, kept me informed, good crew, fair price. I’ll go back.
