I've been taking my 1971 VW Volkswagen to Performance Haus for many years. They're the only place that can actually tune up and take care of my car near San Clemente, CA. My 1971 VW Volkswagen always runs great after a trip to Performance Haus.
I find this garage honest. However, expensive. I've been going here for 6 years and Raymond was the manager who he is now retired. I'm really only coming in for an oil change. So it's hard to know the quality of service now. However, a $155 seems a little high to me for an oil change.whats the average?
The garages that welcome EuroVans are disappearing. I just brought mine (1995) in for a repair for the first time. What a relief to not see the all-too-familiar “no” head signal when I drove in. They know how to and love to work on EuroVans here. I’ll be back!
Performance Haus did a great job on my Audi A6 I went in with a suspension issue and it turns out it was not an issue at all. They changed my oil and filter and and other filters. turned around in the same day. Great value for a good price. Friendly and professional.
I've taken my cars and wife's car to performance haus for years. They've always provided great service however I recently took it in for a check engine light. I had an appointment on a Saturday morning as I normally do, and it's common that Ray or Claudia would call within hours to explain the reading and what's needed for repair. I dropped my car off at 9am and hadn't heard from them so at 1pm, I called because they close at 3pm and are closed on Sundays. They had no update for me and said they'd call me back. At that point, I mentioned it seemed odd that they couldn't get an update after 5 hrs for a check engine light. They said the tech was still working on it but since it was nearing their closing, I asked to hear back asap. They presumed I didn't need my car back, which I really couldn't understand that they'd assume I'd schedule a sat morning appointment for a simple diagnosis and that I wouldn't need my car until Monday? So when I finally pick it up, they charge me $220 for the diagnosis but didn't supply me with any real diagnosis or paperwork of any kind. Alex said they were still uploading it to the computer and I'd be emailed. I still have not recieved that email. So I essentially wasted a weekend and paid $220 for no proof of any work they did on my car. I'm hoping this is a one off and that performance haus will correct the issue and refund my money given they haven't proved even a code reading for the diagnosis.
