I was less than thrilled. I was refused the option to wait around for a chance to personally speak with a mechanic once they had diagnosed my car. They insisted on replacing all three radiator hoses, even though two were fine, being two years old and with no leaks or moisture on them after driving. I was told that they needed to replace all hoses before they could do the compression test, which is not what I've ever heard before. I was denied the right to speak with a mechanic about my belief that a gasket was at fault--and though I was wrong, and happy to admit it, speaking to someone would have helped. The cost for all this seemed high...over $300...but perhaps prices have gone up. I got it back the same day and the car runs well, so I will happily give them credit for that. But I wanted to see these "leaking" hoses myself, my melt-down could have been avoided with a face-to-face discussion at the beginning and I question how anyone could know them well enough to say they were "like family."
