I was less than thrilled. I was refused the option to wait around for a chance to personally speak with a mechanic once they had diagnosed my car. They insisted on replacing all three radiator hoses, even though two were fine, being two years old and with no leaks or moisture on them after driving. I was told that they needed to replace all hoses before they could do the compression test, which is not what I've ever heard before. I was denied the right to speak with a mechanic about my belief that a gasket was at fault--and though I was wrong, and happy to admit it, speaking to someone would have helped. The cost for all this seemed high...over $300...but perhaps prices have gone up. I got it back the same day and the car runs well, so I will happily give them credit for that. But I wanted to see these "leaking" hoses myself, my melt-down could have been avoided with a face-to-face discussion at the beginning and I question how anyone could know them well enough to say they were "like family."

Best time spent with a salesman. Very polite and pleasant to talk to. Was a pleasure to by an SUV from.
We were looking to trade in my truck and get an suv. He gave me a very good offer for my truck and worked with us to get me in my Honda Pilot. I didn’t think it would be a pleasure to get rid of my truck but it was Moe was very nice and easy to work with.

Top Notch Business
The owner/head mechanic, Miguel and his team are amazing. It's not easy in this day and age to find people you trust and who aren't trying to take advantage of a customer, but especially of a woman who is no expert when it comes to cars. I completely trust Miguel and his expert opinion on work that's needed to keep my car running in top condition. I never feel pressured to get work done if it is out of my budget and estimates are always given prior to work being completed.
And Linda, who runs the day-to-day in the front is so friendly and easy to work with, as she keeps you updated and is always laughing and joking.
It feels like a family when you see all the staff interact. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else to get work done on your vehicle! I have been taking my car to Pburg Auto for 6 years and have never had a bad experience. In fact, I referred my best friend and her husband to them when they asked who I trust to work on my car.
Thank Pburg Auto for taking such good care of my Honda and for walking me through each step along the way!!!

Friendly and honest
I'm just glad I found mechanics that I can finally Trust .other places I went to wanted $1,400 for a new exhaust system pburg Auto Repair told me I didn't need an exhaust system I just needed O2 sensors.. saved me over $1,000!

Wonderful, highly-qualified staff
I’ve been a long-time customer of Phillipsburg Auto.....there’s just no other place that compares. The staff is SO friendly and well-qualified.....and their prices are very reasonable! EVERYTHING is discussed in great detail as far as exactly what my car needs......the mechanics are great.

Honest Shop, Good people to deal with..
Brought my GMC Sierra into P-Burg Auto for brakes and they sent me out the door after inspecting the rotors. The gentlemen told me he did not feel comfortable replacing my rotors since they had about 50% life left on them.. I was prepared to drop a couple hundred and they wouldn't take my money. You don't find that type of honestly these days. I never post reviews, but this should not go unnoticed. I will be back for all future survives..
