Excellent service & clear answers to questions
My questions were clearly and understandably answer. All the service employees that i interacted with were very fiendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Service as far as quality was very good, from what I can determine. I was made aware of a developing service problem and it was addressed with my permission. What cost you a star were two things: 1) If you promise a customer a callback or text, don't force the customer to call you. I know you get busy and no doubt overwhelmed with work. Nonetheless it is irritating to your customer who is waiting. This was addressed by Rachel, without me having to raise the issue, as my interaction with the service department progressed. Kudos to Rachel for the texts and phone calls to keep me informed. 2) The serpentine belt needed be replaced after only a year and a half. I purchased the van from Nimey's at that time. I specified at that time the serpentine belt be replaced since it squealed loudly. This was my one condition before I purchased the van. The belt was replaced and the squeal stopped. A year and a half later as the belt was starting to squeal just a little, I was told the belt and two pullies needed to be replaced. It is my understanding this type of repair need only be done approximately every 3 to 5 years. I am not saying that the bare minimum repair was done so I would buy the van and it may just have been my luck of the draw, but it left me wondering. On the plus side most of that repair was covered by the warranty I had purchased when I bought the van. I understand repair shops and car dealers are what they are, and need to turn a profit in order to pay a decent wage to their employees on which to live. I am just pointing out, while employees are not to be taken for granted neither are customers. I believe this review to be honest and fair to all concerned just as you requested; calling balls and strikes as I see them. These are my opinions. I have no axe to grind here and truely appreciate all the service performed on the van. I hope you receive this review in the spirit in which it is given. Thank you.
