Horrible- 0 STARS
LONG POST ALERT!!!!! If I could take stars away, I would.They moved us from a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in Antioch to a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house in LaVergne. The appointment was originally set for 9am. We called once on Tuesday to check and again Friday morning prior to their arrival about 830. At that time (30 mins before they were scheduled), we were told that our time had changed from 9am to 1pm without any notice. We asked for a discount for the inconvenience and was told no due to weather and it didn’t rain til after dark the night before smh. When the movers did arrive around 1230, they took a break. My fiancé offered them water bc it was 80 degrees outside and they were moving our stuff. They never used the appropriate equipment to move our furniture. They receptionist and the movers were asked about moving equipment bc I have really heavy furniture and it’s not an easy move. We’ve moved it ourselves, that’s why we hire movers now. Bc they failed to use the appropriate equipment, it took longer than expected and my fiancé and mother in law had to help bc they were on the clock at $125 per hour. It took them 2 hours and 45 mins. We had moved most of the small stuff ourselves so nothing was left really, but the big furniture. And we wrapped it so it wouldn’t get damaged, which they ended taking off bc they failed to use the equipment, therefore causing damage. Our last movers, took 2 hours and they moved us further and put our King size bed frame together, all in 2 hours. I called the office to complain and had to argue with the receptionist who was nasty and hung up in my face. If I’m paying for service, I expect it to be good and courteous. Then had to argue with the driver who did the least amount of work. He was the reason the move took so long. All I know I would NEVER use them again. Oh and by the way, my furniture was damaged beyond repair. Not just little scraps but actual chunks were taken out of my furniture bc they lacked the knowledge to move appropriately even after being told. The furniture has been moved 4 times prior and never been damaged. . My furniture has always been in really good condition
