Escalating costs/Condescending/Had to have car towed to another shop
This was a terrible experience. They will say you need all kinds of things fixed even if you don't; they print recommendations for age of car rather than assessing car itself. After days of negotiations, owner did cover cost of shop where I had to have my car towed from Multnomah Automotive to fix problems they caused. (The new shop resolved the issue cheaply and quickly and professionally.). He only covered that if I "agreed not to write a review" and I did not agree to such a thing. What kind of reputable shop wants to be sure you don't review them?

Money pit
Took Jeep in there for service. After going back three times and spending over $1k, the problem still was there. They throw parts at problems, not diagnose them. Not left out $1k and have a bad whirring noise in my AC. Don’t go there unless it’s simple.

time will tell
I was disappointed to learn that when the mechanic had all four wheels off for brake work, that the tires were not rotated at the same time. When I asked the mechanic about this,, he said it was not their "policy".
For some additional work that was scheduled I was quoted the price for the part, approximately $50.00dd. When I took the car in for the work I was told that the $50.00 part was not available and they had purchased a $300.00 part For that much difference I think a phone call would have been appropriate. I went ahead with the work but my bill was about 5 times what I had planned for.

Honest competent service, reasonable rates
Thanks for all your work on my car! I've grown to trust you guys. A couple things: 1) you didn't reset the check engine light the time before last. It sucks to get home from picking up your car from the shop and notice that the check engine light is on. If the car needed an oil change, I would have appreciated you doing that at the time. 2) Jason, you may not be a "fan of the mask order", but I am pushing 60 and really don't want to get this thing. I really appreciate you wearing a mask and the plexiglass you have up. You're totally entitled to your opinion about wearing masks but please keep it to yourself in this setting. It kind of pissed me off.

Very helpful and quick!
I came in the day after my check engine light came on when my normal shop couldn’t take me right away and they had me come in immediately and even offered me a ride home. They diagnosed the issue within an hour and called me to discuss the next steps. When it came time to pick my vehicle up a big snow storm had hit and they offered to hold my car until I felt like I could safely drive it home. Great people, reasonably priced, would definitely recommend!
