Phenomenal service and integrity!
I took my car in to get my ignition coils looked at one month ago due to the car shaking upon starting and at lights (while stopped). My car had previously been serviced by the Pep Boys on Winchester Road and they had replaced the coils once before, but they couldn't figure out why it was shaking this time around after they had done that work; thus I took it to the dealership to have them inspect it. It turns out that Pep Boys had put the wrong ignition coils in (because they didn't follow a factory recall for them). Thankfully Hyundai caught that and fixed the issue. Now, one month later, the car was starting to have the same issues with shaking (which obviously frustrated me because it had JUST been fixed). So, I took it back in to get looked at and they determined that there was no issue at all with the ignition coils. The problem was that Pep Boys did not space the spark plugs correctly which caused them to misfire... needless to say, I am grateful to Hyundai for catching that and fixing it with unnecessarily charging me for more ignition coils. Their professionalism and knowledge is paramount, and they have the integrity to not overcharge you for unnecessary work. I will never take my car to get serviced anywhere else again (especially not the Pep Boys on Winchester).
