If I could give no stars....
[ ] I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service of this company and their customer care. It's very unfortunate to have such a dishonest and greedy company in our community and even more unfortunate that a lot of people probably get ripped off by them without even knowing or thinking to question it. The beginning of our story is my boyfriend bringing in one of our cars to be diagnosed for the slave cylinder on our 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS only to be told the entire clutch assembly needed to be replaced, which it did not, and on top of that the estimate was over double the high end of the typical cost for this part and labor which they stated was due to their lifetime warranty which is absurd. It's only a lifetime warranty because you've already paid to have it done twice which is extremely dishonest and also makes me question the competency of their mechanics if they require payment for a future fix on every car that they work on. It should not be necessary and beyond that the part already comes with a warranty so double is making you pay for a warranty you've already paid for. Once we finally got them to give us a quote for just the slave cylinder, same deal. The real issue I have with this company is the part of the story in the middle where there stated they needed to replace a hose adapter on the car that was damaged, and that while they think it was damaged before, they would replace it for free because the damage was obvious after their mechanic diagnosed the car and they wanted to make sure we were happy with their service. Once we got the car back however, an antifreeze leak that had not existed suddenly was spraying all over the entire engine bay. Not leaking, spraying. There was also the addition of a zip tie holding on the opposite side of the line that needed the adapter replaced. This issue requires a whole new radiator. Now if we had contacted them and they had been willing to even consider that possibly a mechanic could have done it, maybe this would be less of a utter disappointment, but we were completely dismissed. We have pictures from a week before of under the hood with no damage, there was no antifreeze under the hood before we brought it in otherwise I'm not sure why they wouldn't have found an issue with the radiator while it was being diagnosed and didn't inform us of the need for a new radiator, but now the day after there isn't a square inch of it under there that isn't covered. They won't fix their mistake, they say there is no way it's their fault so i suppose lesson learned to the tune of $400, but hopefully I can at least save somebody else the time, money, and honestly future distrust in the car repair industry. It's a sad day when not only a person, but a company, would allow such deception and greed.
