Never again! (never say)
I brought my old Volvo to this shop as all the previous mechanics I had have given up working on it. Ma's was able to fix it; was impressed. They said my oil was dry and needed replacement immediately, I obliged. Happy that I am able to drive my vehicle once more. Later that day, checked my records and saw that my scheduled oil change has still a month or so to go and didn't even notice a leak. Though felt duped, it was forgiven. Later, I came back for a break job and the routine work resulted to being pressed buying a new set of tires. I was not too happy as I know I could find a better deal from Costco. But what the h.., might as well. Didn't want to break a good mechanic/customer relationship. I brought my son's car, also a Volvo early last year for them to check rattling/grinding sound when driving and said they have fixed it, after doing some break jobs, blah blah. It was NOT. Spent more than $1,200+ for that fix. This was the time I thought I saw the last of them though just two days ago, was at Costco to purchase tires for my son's car and their staff could not replace one of its tires as the bolts were overly tightened and to proceed may mean breaking the wheel plate. Suggested that I bring back my car to the last mechanic that worked with my car - it was Ma's. What seems to just be an admission of fault and fixed to vouch for their reputation resulted to once more sucked up into buying a new wheel hub unit which they say it needed; another $1,000+ out of my pocket. To top it all, as I was just about to leave their shop, was being convinced (again!) to buy tires from them. Now I see where these previous bad reviews are coming from. Really disappointed that the one job that I compliment them for had catapulted to a big time mechanic trap.
