Problem not fixed; took my money and denied responsibility
Whatever you do, please do not make the mistake of bringing your car to Main Street Motors. I had issues with the air suspension on my 2005 Mercedes E500 and spent $5500 with them in two increments over the course of a year on this issue. The second time I brought, the vehicle in ($1500 bill) in March, 2022, the vehicle was returned with cigarrette smell, the rear seat uninstalled and the manual missing from the glove box. After having the car back for a week, the dashboard indicator for suspension issues came back. After returning the car to Main Street, the car sat for 2+ weeks without me receiving a call to convey the status of the fix. After repeated calling and getting several different stories about how the light potentailly cam back on, I requested to pick the vehicle up and requested a refund of my $1500 as the problem was not resolved. At this point, Jay the owner, and I spoke outside where he blamed me for buying a Mercedes and not knowing about upkeep costs on the car. He then pulled two $100 bills out of his pocket and thrust them at me, telling me to get a diagnostic at a dealer and that I was not welcome as a customer going forward. Just called today (June 20th, 2022) asking for when I can expect my replacement manual they committed to ordering me and I got a story about how they are waiting on responses for junkyards they have contacted so they can purchase a used replacement manual. Just another story... more of the same. Meanwhile, the suspension light on my car is still on. If you want someone who stands behind their work to fix your car, look elsewhere.
