Out of Town Buyer
I was initially impressed with the phone answering. I found a used vehicle in mind, and I had done my homework. I spoke with a young salesman and told him what I expected in the form of the purchase order as I had financing. Even though I had warned against being told untruths (some people call it lying) I know they were untruthful when asked certain questions regarding the details of what I was being charged for. I asked for the best "out the door price", and each time additional, unwanted and unnecessary charges were included in the purchase order. Then the financing untruth surfaced, that Mac Haik COULD NOT receive drafting instructions from my bank, but that they'd be glad to try their own financing for me. That was strike three. I told the salesman that they had already been proved to be untruthful enough times that I was no longer interested in completing the $41,000 purchase. All they had to do was be honest and transparent and I would be on my way to Victoria for the truck.
