I would not trust them to repair a toy car!
First, this isn't Lou's anymore. Lou's was an excellent mechanic and reputable shop. The Car Doctor is far from it. They not only messed up my transmission but tried to blame it on the high mileage instead of owning up to the fact that they could not repair it. This establishment should be shut down.

No Masks
Went to Lou’s/The Car Doctor for an oil change earlier today and not a single person I spoke to or saw was wearing a mask. It’s was pretty uncomfortable, so I left after waiting for 5 minutes.

Crooked
I dropped off a transmission in pretty good shape at this shop for a simple inspection and rebuild. What I ended up getting back, though, was a transmission with a case so broken and otherwise damaged that it couldn't even be properly reinstalled in the vehicle. (I suspect they just switched it with another one they had laying around and wanted to make some money on) They also hosed it down with paint so poorly that even the electrical contacts were coated. The owner flat out refused to fix it, claiming it would take too many more hours on the bench. His suggested solution to the problem? "Just put some JB weld on it!"

This place is crooked. I wouldn't recommend them to wash a car, let alone do any mechanical work on one.

Friendly, Honest and fast service
Dan and his crew have helped me out numerous times, I’m always happy with their fast and friendly service, and they take the time to talk about different options for my repairs. A great small and convenient shop without all the added cost from high overhead. I’ve used them for many different repairs including brakes, front end, fuel pump and transmission work, all with great and affordable results.Highly recommended.

What a great little find!!
This rather ominous place really surprised me! From the moment I made the call to inquire about the services I needed done to the time I left! Thank you Dan for your customer service! Lou’s has been in A2 for quite some time and it is busy! Their work is honest and priced very fair! I will absolutely return and tell everyone!

This is a local business not a dealership that tries to add on more repairs not needed as they show you what is needed in person not just by a phone call

Excellent work done in a timely fashion the problem was other than what I thought it was and Danny found the problem and took care of it is currently working to see if you can find out what's going on with the sway bar in this vehicle and we will probably be talking again soon

Fair deal at fair price
Dan and his team have always got my older model car in and out same day. If something needs to be fixed, they tell me. If something can wait, they tell me that too. Prices are always fair.

Clutch Repair
We had to have the clutch replaced on our Tacoma. Lou’s Transmission was very efficient in completing this task. This was unplanned event and Lou’s Transmission had the truck back to us within two days. The truck is running great. Thank you
