Just not customer friendly
This is the worst place I have ever purchased a vehicle from. I purchased a 2020 Santa Fe in June of 2023. Had several issues with the vehicle and was back and forth with service to get things repaired.
Last issue was fixed but my rear bumper was damaged by one of the mechanics. Took a week to get that resolved but they replaced my bumper with a different shade of grey, claiming paint on plastic sticks different from metal.. Now corporate got involved but corporate can not make them fix my bumper. The dealership wanted to put me in a 2023 Tucson Limited which I was ok with, but at the last minute, wanted me in a 2024 Tucson SE...I had to decline that offer. 8 hours I sat at that dealership with no corrective action. Only to hear, "let's see how much that bumper means to you!"
Go to Doral or Homestead Hyundai. Kendall Hyundai is horrible.

The worst Service Experience I've had
The Service Department, starting with Management, down to the employees, are unprofessional, dismissive and lack professionalism to deal with any customer. I have already contact Hyundai Corporate, where an ongoing case is in process, but since I had no choice to go back to the dealership to resolve an issue that THEY caused...and continue to be ignored (ZERO Follow-Ups from ANYONE). Therefore, it's only fair that they receive a scathing review for this, as ALL consumers should be alerted to this sham of a service dealership.

The left my car out in the rain....with a broken window that was stuck down...failed to show any remorse or offer sensible resolutions, and continuously drop the ball in contacting their customers- leaving the customer in the dark and chasing THEM! And still....you can't get a hold of anyone who can resolve matters. I've even conveyed this to an email to the GM over a week ago...and received NO acknowledgement, NO reply nor a resolution (or any semblance of trying to save a customer....but hey! they're sales guys are extremely eager to connect with you to try and have you purchase a car from them via a trade. It's laughable. I've been in the sales/business development/Customer Service world for 30+ years, and NEVER have I felt so ignored and dismissed.

If there is one silver lining, it would be Natasha, my case manager, who's been responsive, attentive, and empathetic, and offering possible options at her capacity. I intend on continuing to escalate this until SOMEONE of authority at Kendall Hyundai wishes to step forward and provide insight, remedies...and perhaps some remorse??

Thank you for this platform....now, I'm off to continue to convey this to other platforms, as this is simply unacceptable to any customer.

Run don’t walk to another dealer!!!!
Wow! What a horrible dealer. Went to buy a used car listed at $14,400. Car was beat up way worse than in pictures. And the price - went from $14400 to OVER $20000!!!! Why you ask? Because they add over $4500 in “fees” dealer prep, other dealer fees and the “wonderful” Hyundai Advantage for $2495 which is a glorified seat cleaning and wheel maintenance contract. When I asked our inept salesperson Roberto to break down what the fees were and what the Advantage plan was he couldn’t answer me. I asked 3 times. Then I told him I didn’t want the warranty program and he told me if he removed it for me that was discrimination!!!!! Worst car buying experience EVER!!!!! Go elsewhere.

Lack of accountability for services
Very disappointed with the service and lack of accountability. Drivers seat in my car stopped working. Brought the car to Hyundai Kendal for services - they made an estimate of 1000 dollars for the electric switch plus labor. Service was done after one week. One day after the repair the seat stopped working again. Call the dealer and instead of picking up the car for us I had to drop it off and come back home by Uber.. five days later no communication or info about the status of the car. I called the service line. Now they’re saying it will cost additional 800 dollars to repair something another switch on the same drivers seat that according to them is not the same issue that was repaired but “a new problem “ on the same seat. Surprised by the timing and extreme coincidence of events. Nevertheless terrible service, lack of accountability and professionalism. I love Hyundai cars because of their overall reliability. However I wouldn’t buy a car or do any service at Kendal Hyundai. Choose another authorized dealer

Taken Advantage
Had an appointment for oil change, after 3 hours of waiting the service advisor came and said upon inspection they notice my brakes are gone and needs to be replaced immediately, I said no and told him that I am only here for an oil change, after 5 minutes he return along with the mechanic and they said that I need to change it because its really bad, I ask what will be the total cost for my oil change, tire rotation and brake pads, I was told with tax $700.00, I asked if they have any discount or special and he told me they will give me 10% off, after 4 hours the advisor came and said the car is ready and it is time to pay, I ask to see the bill and almost died!! They changed me for 4 hours labor for $1103.00 . My total bill was $1413.33. How could this be when I started to question why so much for labor fees the advisor told me that is what they charged. I told him that they are dishonest because he lied to me, I had to pay it before they give me my car. I cannot believe after 20 years with this dealer, 3 cars purchase, this is how they value customers, I've email the General manager, I've called customer service and no one reply. No way an oil change takes 4 hours with an appointment. Everyone That I spoke with said that was a scam. How can people do this, This is dishonesty at the highest level.

Price swap!!
I recently had a highly disappointing and frustrating experience with Kendall Hyundai, which has left me compelled to share this review as a cautionary tale. My intention was to purchase a truck, but unfortunately, I ended up being overcharged and taken advantage of.

From the moment I entered the dealership, I was met with a pushy and unsavory salesperson who seemed more interested in closing a deal than ensuring my satisfaction. Despite expressing my budget clearly, the salesperson relentlessly tried to upsell me on a higher-priced truck, disregarding my preferences and financial limitations.

When it came to negotiating the price, I expected a fair and transparent process. However, I soon discovered that Kendall Hyundai operates on deceptive tactics and hidden fees. They conveniently omitted crucial information about additional charges, such as documentation fees, extended warranty costs, and unnecessary add-ons. As a result, the final price I paid for the truck was significantly higher than the initial advertised price.

Moreover, the dealership's financing department was equally disappointing. They pressured me into accepting a higher interest rate, claiming it was the best they could offer, despite my good credit history. It was evident that their primary focus was on maximizing their profit, rather than providing a fair and reasonable financing option for their customers.

Furthermore, the after-sales service was abysmal. When I discovered issues with the truck shortly after the purchase, the dealership was unresponsive and uncooperative. They made it clear that once the sale was finalized, they were no longer interested in addressing my concerns or providing any form of assistance.

Overall, my experience with Kendall Hyundai Dealership was utterly disheartening. Their unethical sales tactics, hidden charges, and lack of customer care have left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of. I strongly advise potential buyers to be cautious and thoroughly research other reputable dealerships that prioritize customer satisfaction over their own financial gains.

Horrible
I dropped off my car for an oil change and tire rotation, and to ask why my abs lights are on..(seems to be an error). well seems like the car is out of warranty for one day and the quote to fix it was 1300 dollars. What upsets me even more was I was told by Joshua that it is unsafe..Well the last time i brought it in (when it was under warranty) , nobody mentioned anything about it being unsafe. Well after dropping it off for the oil change and tire rotation today I called and texted Joshua several times to find out the car status and I got no reply. I had to pay for an Uber out of my pocket and go to the dealership where the car was ready and they were waiting on a reply from the company regarding good will. That is all fine and dandy but communication is important and I felt like there was none. My car was also not washed..

The worse Hyundai Dealership
I dropped my car off to get a diagnostic since Monday 8/29/2022 at 7:30am, I was told that was the best time to bring in my car. The service advisor Aaliyah has been giving me the run around, each day she tells me my car is almost done being diagnosed which is clearly a lie. I also expressed to her that I’ve been paying $45 daily for a car rental because I work and I do not have family in Miami. I am frustrated at this point to resort to writing a review. I need answers because all I am getting from Aaliyah are excuses. If someone from management at the dealership can get back to me about my car I would greatly appreciate it. It doesn’t take 8 days to diagnose a car because it is currently 9/6/2022.

Lied dealership, bad service
On 05/02/2022 the salesman Mr. Alexis Ramos showed me a purchasing sheet for a 2022 Senta Cruz truck, $31600 purchasing car price plus $4200 out of state registration, tax and other fees, total $35800 cash offer. I signed and paid a $1000 deposit.

On 05/05/2022 the financial officer asked me to sign a final contract, $32000 car price plus Florida registration, tax and other fees, total $35800 cash. I didn't get the title, registration... within 1 month. I called tons of times to contact the general manager, no response. I had to complain to the BBB and Hyundai consumer office. It's a fraud.

It's not an honest dealership. I DO NOT recommend it.

Worst Customer Service ever. Unethical behavior.
They sold me a car with many malfunctions, 4 weeks waiting for explanations, nobody care about customer care, now they are offering replace the car paying more money for an older model. No solutions. Extortion. Horrible experience.
