Lied about work done, later told me they didn't bother
Incredibly disappointed. Had a front-end wreck (front, right side) and took the car in to have the work done. Wife had been complaining about the car pulling after the wreck, and with having been hit right at the wheel (impact was obvious at bumper above wheel) I specifically asked for the car's alignment to be checked as part of the inspection for repair.
Fast forward, we get the car back and I see that there is no alignment on the work sheet. I'm told specifically that no alignment work was needed that it was within spec.
Over the next few months the wife continues to complain about the car pulling more and more, so while having the oil changed I ask them (another auto shop) to check alignment, and lo and behold, the cars whole front-end is out. First question the mechanic asks me is, "has the car been hit?". I'm a little pissed that I specifically asked for this to be checked by Joe Hudson, but an alignment isn't that expensive.
Unfortunately, based on the feedback from the mechanic trying to align he car, the front right camber can no longer be aligned as "you've probably got some suspension damage preventing that from being aligned".
So...today I call Joe Hudson and am told, "we didn't check alignment, we don't have the equipment here", "since it didn't look like there was wheel impact, we didn't deem it necessary".
So despite specifically asking for an alignment check, and specifically being told that work wasn't needed that it "checked out", I now find out that there is most likely suspension issues that I'll have to pay out of pocket for because Joe Hudson couldn't be bothered to do the work requested.
I will never use or recommend this shop to anyone.
