Three week repair
I have been using Independent Automotive for my Volkswagen Jetta for many years now and have always been happy with the service. However this particular service I was very disappointed on the time it took to diagnose the problem. My car was there for more than three weeks and every time I would call to check on it I was told that it was being pulled into the stall to be looked at or that they were working on other cars. One frustrating thing is that I made an appointment two weeks in advance but it still took them a few days to even start looking at it and I got the feeling that they were only working on it intermittently or when I called. I really felt like I was getting the run around.

Proof of quality work = emissions testing passed this 25 year old car during the first try
Not sure you can improve on my Eurovan passing its emissions test upon its first visit.

Kelly said she was not pleased with her visit. They did not fix the problem, and charged her for a part she didn't need, that they told her caused the problem. They said the vehicle would be returned in one day, and it was 6 days. Mike the mechanic said he would talk with the owner and work something out and call her back. He did not call her back, and the engine light is still on.

One can always count on them.
The excellent service keeps my 1989 running beautifully. I can always count on them to locate and repair potential problems before it becomes a major issue. I have been with them 7 years or so......i would go nowhere else!!!!!!

Lack of Customer Service
On Friday Aug. 10th I took my car in for a oil change and 100,000 mile check-up. Much to my surprise Justin and Andrew were gone. Mike worked on my car and let me know I needed some switches replaced and my sun roof needed repair. I asked him to give me estimates on both items. I also asked him to order a interior piece which had broken. I waited 2 weeks never received a call back. I finally called and talked to Michelle and left a message for Mike. I still haven't received a call. I finally went to the dealer and purchased my interior piece. I don't know what is going on with your shop but I don't appreciate your lack of Customer Service. I have been a good customer to you and I'm in the process of finding a new shop.
