Some time ago My 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport was stuck Idling to high,acceleration was an issue and they also found out the car was leaking oil internally,so the parts rep. suggested replacing the engine,Great!! Then suggested "It may not by necessary," 2,500 later which included a tune-up. The car still had the same problem,took it back "We adjusted The Actuator and got The Check Engine light Off" it still did the same thing,took it back a third time ,still nothing plus i was told to watch The oil because that engine is known to leak and i may not know it. so I said "What happened to replacing the motor in the beginning?" I was told "We don't take engines with sludge,but good luck with it" to the parts reps. at Hyundai you'll be "Happy" to know it finally quit on me I kept it going as long as I could,I recommend NOT dealing with Hyundai at all!! They're all about getting your money milk it for as long as they can then point you towards the door. They didn't even wash the damn car!! I believe they do things like this on purpose.

Disappointed
I wish I could say that we had a wonderful experience at Hyundai of Orange Park. My husband brought his
2023 Elantra in to have his windshield wiper fluid reservoir serviced because it was not holding any fluid.
They supposedly fixed it and sent him home, only to discover that, once again, there was no washer fluid.
Hubby made an appointment and took his vehicle in again. They said there was a kink in the line and that it was fixed. Here we are again, and it is still not working.
I called this morning to speak with the service manager, who was unavailable. I left my information and have yet to receive a callback several hours later. I called again, explained
my situation, and said I would like to speak with the service manager. They explained that he was extremely busy due to the holidays, that they would transfer me to him, and that I could leave a message. I may sound rude, but this is not our first time having had difficulties with this location. I had my oil changed at this location several years ago, and they put a next-service sticker that said, "F*** you." It turns out it was an employee pranking another worker, but you can imagine how I felt. Later, I had a tire rotation or new tires put on, but my car was making all sorts of noise, so I had to take it back. It turns out that they did not tighten the lug nuts.
I hope my experiences help you in choosing where to purchase and have your vehicle serviced.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Quit sending emails, you honestly think I would ever buy from your dealership ever again after being sold a complete junk of a vehicle? The pure hell I went through after I bought it and you guys did nothing??? A year later I cant even drive it because it needs 1000s of $$$$ to fix it, after I traded in a perfect car???? It leaks, death wobble, electrical issues, destroyed tires because of the death wobble. You guys replaced headlights (didnt work) and scratch the hell out of them because you had some 17 yr old kid put them in. And they still didnt work, I had to replace electrical wire MYSELF to fix the lights. I have told everyone I can to NEVER buy from you guys. I have put in a Better Business Bureau complaint, I have put in 1 star reviews...and you guy dont care at all. So I still owe $25k on a vehicle I cant even drive a few miles without worrying if the POS is going to breakdown. Thanks Orange Park Hyundai... you guys are great!!

Rip off
The service department is a total rip off. Charged $138 over normal charge for a basic maintenance task and added a lot of hidden fees. The diagnostic fee was obscene to determine a basis repair.
The important task was double the normal cost for other Hyundai dealerships charge.
They wanted $450 for what others charge $253 for a part.

I would not ever take a car here.

Excellent Service
We found the service and staff to be above and beyond. We aren't local. We were traveling from Sarasota, Fl to Virginia. Going down the highway all of the sudden, the car slowed down and the check engine light started flashing. We found Hyundai of Orange Park not far off the highway and went in looking for help. It turns out that the dealership was under water trying to catch up after having been down due to a cyber attack on their system. We spoke to the service manager (Sherman Cooper), explained our situation and asked if there was anyway he could get us on our way the same day. He not only got us out the same day, he asked his mechanic to work past closing to get it done. Though we had to wait several hours, it was to be expected due to the overwhelming workload they had. The staff checked on us regularly. The waiting area was stocked with snacks, coffee and water. It was the very best we could have hoped for under the circumstances. Our gratitude to Mr. Cooper and his staff. They're amazing.

No info given after multiple requests
Called on Sat morning, and left a message via voice mail asking for an update. No returned call. I called again Monday and spoke to a service advisor and was told another adcisor was following the issue but that I'd get a call back with an update. No returned call. Called and asked to speak with the assistant service manager and was asked to hold for a moment. 5 min later still on hold I hung up.

never take your car here for service.
My car is an Hyundai elantra 2016, never had any mayor issues all maintenance completed. I received a letter from Hyundai for the anti-theft software upgrade, I set an appointment on July 15,2023 to accomplish this recall. Right after this recall was done and I drove my car home it started having issues, it starting shutting down making all kind of noises and would not move check engine light was on. Called the dealership and they said it was not possible that the recall was the cause of this that the issue was something else that I should bring the car in for a service evaluation. I set an appointment for 8/4/2023 and that determine that the issue is the computer of the car (interesting car was fine before this recall) I said fine change the computer (2000.00) took that car back 8/11/2023 for the computer replacement, it took them less than 2 hours to replace the "computer" car had no issues when I left the dealership, got home (1 hr drive) no issues car was on my drive way the rest of the afternoon, decide to go out car start having issues starting, AC is making loud noises and car is shaking and loud noises. my car is in worst shape than before, I cannot even move the car now from the drive way. I think this computer was never change and they just took my money.

Sonata family
We own a Sonata an our daughter has had two Sonata an our son has a Sonata!! We love there performances an the warranty an Orange Park service department are excellent at taking care of any repairs or maintenance needed!! Last took our car in an was taken care of by Sherman Cooper was our service representative he was great very clear an detailed about repairs made everything easy !! Highly recommend him ! Very professional!!

Called and Went Over Issue and Made it Right
They called and went over our concerns explaining that they checked all that they could. The problem could not be duplicated while at the dealer and they agreed to look again if need be. They offered us a service credit. I appreciate the follow up with our problem.

GREat sales experience However I wished that I haven't purchased the prepaid maintenance package due to the issues that Ive had on my past two service visits. Since my last review Zack the service manager reached out to me to fully understand my issue. He assured me that I or any customer will not have the same issue that I had experienced. He really seemed to care about the customer and our experience with the service dept. I am confidant that I'll be satisfied on my next visit. Thanx Zack for listening and caring.
