Denial of full gap payoff of loan. No explanation.
Totaled car in Dec, 2025. Applied for Gap insurance. Filled out all form and was told the check for the balance of loan would be sent between Mar 13-15. No payment received. I talked to Total Warranty Service and was sent an email with the amount to be paid. TWS said they sent email to Jerold on Mar 3rd telling her to pay, TWS followed up with 2 additional email before she made a partial payment, different than what my email said to pay. I emailed her, she said there was a problem with the numbers and she would get back to me. No response from her for over 3 weeks. I called to speak to GM, left 3 messages but no return call. I reached to one of the directors and he had Jeroyl respond to me with an email. She sent a request to TWS to cancel the Gap, basically told me she paid all she would pay. I asked why she paid less than the payoff, she replied and I quote “The original amount was incorrect. Thank you”. When I asked for an explanation, no reply, nothing. All the monthly payments to gap through 4 years of loan and denied full payoff, less than $1,000.
