I first contacted Hyundai of Columbia expressing interest in a used vehicle. The sales agent, James Yates, assured me the truck was available for inspection and a test drive. After driving 1-1/2 hours on Saturday Mr. Yates seemed surprised that the truck was not there but at a shop somewhere being worked on. He then added insult to injury by telling me the price was not as advertised but in fact higher! Mr. Yates and his sales manager gave me a detailed cost breakdown on the vehicle and had the audacity to include a "discount" which was actually an up-charge in disguise! Mr. Yates promised to contact me when the truck was back at the dealership on Monday but of course he never did. I tried calling, texting and e-mailing him but he never responded. I sent an e-mail to their website asking the sales manager to contact me but NOBODY bothered to respond. I will never waste my time again trying to do business with this shoddy outfit!!!! I just wish I could rate this business even lower than a 1.
