have been a customer for more than 20 years... I have even brought my friends to buy a car from this dealer and I have also come to have them serviced, but they have never treated me as well as Chris Mason, very attentive , helpful and professional thank you

Scammer and liars
Don't deal with Grant Gaither, Tony and this dealer. They are full of lies. They said they will give you discount and price mstch from other dealer so you don't need to go somewhere else. No transparency on their documentation. Nothing was given!!! Go to Libertyville Hyundai, Patrick Hyundai or napketon Hyundai with better customer service and transparency pricing. No lies. I dont recommend Gregory Hyundai. They will not keep their promises and argue with customers! Horrible dealing with them!

This dealer is a bunch of liars. Don't ever deal with Grant Gaither or this dealer if you want to be happy and satisfied on what you buy. He promised to match the price from Patrick Hyundai but after signature and documentation, nothing was given. No discount or price match was followed. No wonder there were few customers complaining when I got there. I should known that before i purchased a car there. His Manager Tony was also a liar and can not keep his word. Definitely , I will not go back in this dealer again. I dont recommend this dealer. Better you go to Libertyville Hyundai or at Patrick Hyundai. They will keep the price based on their words and price quote. They also have better discount with good customer service. They are very transparent on documentation before you sign in which they will explained it to you the total price, discounts and extra fees from taxes to the packages. Where in Gregory Hyundai, no transparency and full of lies. Watch out and don't fall into their traps. Grant will say bad stuff that about Libertyville Hyundai that will charge you bunch of stuff afterward. That's not true, I experienced it the other way around. I dont know how they keep Gregory
Hyundai reviews but my experienced was really horrible on this dealer. I should rate them negative for lying!

Waste of my time and money
Made an appointment two days prior, they knew I was coming from a distance. As I’m pulling up to the lot I get a call telling me my car was no longer available. I was the first appointment of the day so not like the car had just sold minutes earlier. I made it known I would be taking an Uber in. Just terrible customer service

Warranty Engine replacement
I was at my wit's end after 3 months because another dealership had failed to submit the correct warranty documentation for a new engine for my Tuscon. Gregory got the negative marks removed with the warranty company and submitted the documentation correctly and got the approval for an engine replacement! Thank You for your excellent service!

Problem with car not fixed.
Service called Hyundai. Continue to get the runaround. Six months later car still not fixed. It’s a new car, a 2021! Hyundai Corp. calls the shots and gives customer a very lengthy runaround!! I called Hyundai Corp. received a case # .. was told I would get a call back within a week !! Still waiting….NOT a nice way to treat a customer who bought a NEW car!! My car needs a new engine!! What am I waiting for??

Very Dissatisfied with the Service Dept.
I have been coming to Gregory Hyundai for many years and always had excellent service in the past. Today I only wanted a oil change and inquired about any recalls. The service writer run my vin number and said There is a recall on my car. After almost 2 hours I asked the service manager how much longer it would be. He said he had all the paperwork and asked me if I wanted a wash. I said as long as all work was done I Would wait. About 20 minutes later I was told the car was ready. I paid my bill and found the car was never washed. Service person said he was sorry. This is not the way Gregory did work in the past.

John Verschelden, Service Advisor
Brought my daughter's car in while she and son in law were away because the radio was not working.The service writer, John, explained after checking the fuse that a diagnosis had to be done. He returned in about 15 minutes and told me that they accessed the back of the dash, pulled the harness, let it sit momentarily and plugged it back in to reset the radio. It worked! The cost came in about half of what I expected to be. I give tremendous credit to John, the mechanic and Gregory Hyundai for exceeding my expectations.
