NOT a luxury dealer and total rip off
The sales person does not know the car features beyond the basics and defers to service department, service department same lack of knowledge and does NOT treat you as a Genesis customer, but just like the rest. Calls to salesperson after about tech issues worthless, actual said "you know more about the car then me"" .
NO follow up from sales person, manager or deanship at all, especially after sharing my dissatisfaction with sales and pricing experience. I received better follow up from and service from other two vehicles I own, Ford, and Jeep. Had issues with GV80 info system from the start, dealership was unable to help after several calls, had to research on internet to get resolution.
Gettel is hurting the Genesis brand. Having owned BMW, Lexus and other luxury cars in the past this dealership does not provide the level of service one would expect from a luxury brand. Gettel is a total ripoff. Just short of legal price gouging. Taking total advantage of the COVID and inventory issues. They add options, Car Butler $699, screen protector $199, $499 window tint for two front windows that you can get with a higher grade for about $150 to the sticker so you have no choice. Car Bulter is a scam and does not work, check all the BBB complaints. Screen protector is a bout $30 and can be self installed. They charge a "dealer profit" fee of over $7500, in addition to loading up delivery fee, registration fee, etc. My neighbor bought a 2022 GV70 from Gettel had the same disappointing experience.
