It’s all about the Sale ~ G80 2021 (Sales & Finance)FYI
Sales! Purchase an 2021 Genesis G80 March / February 2024 - Tommy Jones customer services skills fell the floor upon completion of my purchase ! Genesis connect services worked for 2 weeks , for about 4-5 months Tommy Jones told me every scenario that could possibly resolve the issue . I stopped by the business to let him know that the thumb drive he said he ordered twice had never been received. This guy totally ignored me proceeded to my car to open the door asking me for information that he supposedly is knowledgeable about. I stopped him ask to speak with the manager. Tommy now highly upset swiftly returned and gets the manager. As I was trying to explain Tommy rises up lunges towards me as if he was going to do something to me . The manager tells Tommy calm down calm down. Tommy’s body language and eye movement towards me was insane and intentional to instill fear . These tactics towards women shouldn’t be tolerated in any business. Soon after that I had a flat tire - all 4 tires needed replacing- than I had to drive to Greensboro to get the Connected Services fixed . I was stopped by the police before they couldn’t see the state on my plate , because North Carolina was covered up with the Genesis cover plate that Tommy put on . Corporate promised a small $$ for my troubles and here we are in December and I never received that . I never been to impress with Hyundai dealerships sales and financing tactics, but I decided I would give them the opportunity again only because I loved the Genesis 280 . Ladies be careful when making purchases take a man with you might receive and honest sale and no intimidating body languages . I wanted to share my experience hopefully no orher female will encounter this experience

Would not honor their valet service as promised
Made appointment 3 weeks out. At that time a valet service was offered free of charge.Day of pickup, I called to verify appointment and was told they would not honor their commitment for valet service because I was not the original owner of the car, I’m the 2nd owner, but I guess that’s not good enough. Don’t understand why a business would want to lose a customer for life when they could have honored their commitment to me and I would have continued to use them in the future,.Guess my money is not worthy.. I called Genesis of Cary NC and guess what, they will valet the car and leave me a loaner car. Never will I use Genesis of New Bern NC. My go to is Genesis of Cary from now on.

Service was quick and friendly
It's always nice to speak with a friendly person when you make a business phone call. Every time I call the service department, the person (usually Kinsey) is very friendly and always willing to help me. The valet service for my GV80 is top-notch. They bring a car to my doorstep, service mine, and return it (cleaned inside and out) within a few hours - and I live over 40 miles from the service center. I am very pleased with the people and the level of service.

Warranty claim
Went in to have the team look at a cosmetic issue with my Genesis and they were very fast, friendly and professional. They had my replacement parts on order within 10 min. I only spent 15 min. in the service department. Great experience so far, will update when the repairs are completed!

Service was quick and friendly
Charlie showed up with my loaner right on time with a smile! Very friendly fellow! I was so pleased and surprised to have my car back by 2:30 PM the same day. All phone calls with the dealership were handled by very friendly and helpful personnel.

As promised
The folks in the service department are friendly and knowledgeable. Had called days earlier to make a service appointment (oil/filter change) and they were ready to start on the vehicle upon my arrival. The multi-point inspection was thorough, the cars maintenance reminder reset, and I departed with confidence - the car was ready to go.
