Genesis of Ft. Myers overall service and management
I just moved to Ft. Myers.I bought my GV809 Prestige from Genesis of Alexandria, Va.
I took my vehicle in for a whining noise and was told, there is a recall for this. They got the noise to stop. I picked up my vehicle and it looked like it had been washed and wiped off with a very dirty rag. I would have rather they would not have, so called, washed it. I took it back to have the Genesis hitch installed. I picked up the car and again the wash job was terrible and the dealership damaged my vehicle. I only had about 3500 miles on it. I was upset and the general manager, Phil, told me that they did not do the damaged and proceeded to say they were not paying for anything. Supposedly the pictures that they took of my vehicle when I dropped off were erased conveniently. They said they had a video of the vehicle in the service area which they did not let me see. The service manager fee\lt bad and said he will get it fixed for me.I scheduled the service. In the meantime I had to take it back due the the rattling of the exhaust against the hitch they installed. They stopped the rattle and they had to fix the whining in the rear again.Again the wash looked terrible and they said "We do not have a detailing department". Then don't wash my car! I took it back to have the damaged repaired and the rattling was back so I had them address that issue again. I told the service writer to have the oil changed and the tires rotated as well. I also said to her that her general manager was an asshole for treating me the way he did. She agreed. When I picked up the car for the last time there at Genesis of Ft. Myers they only repaired half of the damage and washed the car and it looked like crap. I was told that the general manager, Phil, said I was not allowed back to this dealership. Why? I did nothing wrong. All of the problems that I had was created by this dealership. Not by me! Phil, the general manager< had a problem with me personally because I called him out by saying he was an asshole to me. I never made a scene and his employees are afraid to do ANYTHING without asking him. this dealership and the general manager is absolutely crap. Genesis of Naples is so much better.
