Tons of Hidden/Add on fees they tag on
DO NOT BUY a car from Genesis of Clear Lake!!! They advertise a low price to bait you in and throw on thousands of side fees on the backend which they will refuse to remove. I offered full asking price on one of their vehicles and then came all the bs add on fees they tried to tag in. BLAKE is the sales manager and is the one to avoid at all cost. Talks down to you and refuses to explain why he won't remove his add on fees. Example fee: "forever tint" = $500 "dealer services" = $500, "detect it" = $400 "convenience fee" = $235, these are just a few of the nonsense add ons they try and tag on after you call in. I even offered to let them keep $1000 of their fake fees on and only asked them to remove the forever tint (I didn't ask for tint) and the "dealer services" and Blake refused to do it. I spoke with Genesis concierge and they explained that this is not standard for Genesis dealers and that they frown upon dealers doing exactly what Blake did to me. Again DO NOT BUY from this dealership.
