Will never visit this establishment again
First off, Service Advisors,Mr. DeAndre and Mr. Freddie in Parts and Services provided exceptional customer service, during my visit today (6/11/26 at 3:35pm.). With that being said, unfortunately I WILL NOT be doing business at this location anymore!!!
I took my vehicle in today for a routine oil change and tire rotation, and Mr. DeAndre was my point of contact. During our initial conversation, about my vehicle, Mr.DeAndre was checking the system to see if I had any complimentary oil changes left in my profile. While Mr.DeAndre was collecting that information for me, Mr. DeAndre asked one of his peers, another service advisor, that was nearby, named Mr. Scott Wittke, if Genesis owners receive 3 or 4 complimentary oil changes. Mr. Scott Wittke replied by saying, "I think it might be 4." Then Mr.Scott Wittke asked me, "am I the original owner?" My response was, "Yes." After my response to Mr. Scott Wittke, replied back and I QUOTE, "Well, the system is saying that the car is stolen!" I looked at Mr. DeAndre, with a puzzled look, then looked toward where Mr. Scott Wittke was sitting, which was a service station down, to the left of where Mr.DeAndre and I was conducting business. I then responded to Mr.,Scott Wittke comment, by saying, "Really?" Mr. Scott Wittke, replied, "Yep, that's what the screen says!" I then smirked and said, " Does the screen show that my car is paid off?" Then, I followed up with another response, " I do not steal nor kill!" After the exchange between Mr. Scott Wittke and I, I stayed focused on the matter at hand, which was to get my vehicle serviced. At approximately 4:26p.m., Mr.DeAndre approached me in the waiting area, to let me know that my vehicle service was almost completed, and to go over with me, that I had two tires with, fair to low tread and would I like for this service to be completed as well today (6/11/26). I replied to Mr. DeAndre, " No thank you, I will get that service completed at Discount Tires, but I like to know the name of that Service Advisor, because that comments that he made ( Mr.Scott Wittke) said was disrespectful!" Mr. DeAndre provided me with the requested information. As I continued to wait in the waiting room for my vehicle, Mr.Freddie came to speak with me, about how my day was going, and I expressed to Mr. Freddie if there was a manager that I could speak to. Mr. Freddie, then showed me to the Service Advisor Manager office ( Mr. Tom Lang) Prior to me walking in the office, Mr.Scott Wittke was already in the office conversing with Mr, Tom Lang, but I did not know what the matter of their conversation. After Mr. Tom and Scott ended their conversation, Mr, Tom Lang turned to my direction and asked, " How can I help you today?" My response towards Mr.Tom Lang was " While I was at the service counter, talking to the young man (Mr.DeAndre) about my car, this guy (Mr.Scott Wittke) took it upon himself to say that my car was stolen, as to say if I did it and I want his damn job!" Mr.Scott Wittke responded saying "I'm sorry, I thought that we were all joking." I responded with no we were no joking around, there is nothing funny, telling someone that their car is stolen!" Mr.Tom Lang, then proceeded to apologize as well, and then I asked Mr. Tom Lang for his (Mr. Scott Wittke) first and last name. I also asked Mr.Tom Lang does Genesis, still sends out customer surveys, because I will fill one out. Mr.Tom Lang responds by saying, " Yes, and it would go to me." I replied, "Well, who is above you?" Mr.Tom Lang did not provide me with that information, but Mr.Tom Lang did respond back and said, " The survey would come to me." As Mr. Tom Lang was given me the information that I requested, Mr.Tom Lang, then followed up by saying "Once again, I'm sorry." I thanked Mr. DeAndre, and Mr.Freddie for their assistance, and I told Mr. Tom Lang, " there is no place for this type of banter or joking in the workplace." My plan is to seek counsel/attorney, due to nature of the content and, unprofessional customer service that Mr.Scott Wittke decided to display, during my visit!!
