I purchased a 2023 Genesis GV70 last year and last month noticed that there was moisture inside one of the headlights. I scheduled an appointment to drop it off and wait for the repairs along with the required service based on the mileage of the car. When I took it in I was told that it would be 3-4 hours wait for the car. It ended up being 3 hours and that new headlights needed to be ordered. I received an email 3 days later that the headlights were in and scheduled the appointment again to wait for my car. I booked it for 8:20 in the morning and again told a 3-4 hour wait. Three hours later it was finished. That afternoon I was driving to the store and saw that the AFS light was flashing so I called the service department to see if they forgot to reset something when they changed to headlights and if so could I do reset it or do I have to bring it for service. I was told that someone would get back to me. No return call that day. The following day I called at 8am and 12pm asking the same thing and received the same answer and that a service manager would also be notified. No return call. Called the next morning at 8am, same story and same result and again told that a manager would call. The next morning I went ahead and made an appointment with availability of 2 weeks out. I requested at that time for a manager or somebody to call to let me know about this light flashing and it has now been 3 days with no a call. i am not going to bother calling again and when I do go to the appointment I will speak to a manager and and sure that it will ignored once I leave instead of finding a way to fix the issue so that it doesn’t happen to another customer.
I Genesis is a great car very happy that I purchased it.
