I have been using GBE Mandrel Bending for years. All of the bends are great and the previous dude is totally wrong. When I came in last time to GBE, I asked about the "pictures" this guy Nick stated about. I totally laughed pictures of the shoddy work that was done by this below zero novice. He welded these super nice GBE bends with a "flux core welder" and anyone who knows these kind of welders, shouldn't be welding. They don't penetrate the metal and leave GOBS of metal splattered all over the place. And the warping and discoloration of the aluminized tubing he used shows me he had either WAY too much air or fuel dumping in the exhaust making the material warp outside of the bend area. But the welding is so laughable. He should have NEVER thought that a weekend poor job would last as it did. He needs to step away from the welder and go back to mopping the floors at burger king. GBE Mandrel Bending does great work, fast, and best prices around. If this guy had an issue with the work that was done, look in the mirror... they only bend tubing, If it breaks from crappy welds, warps from overheating or melts the aluminized coating off of the tubes.... uh, that's on you!
