I took my 2004 Ford Cobra here after it was stolen and ditched in the woods.
At first I was confident that the process was going to be smoth and pain free. Unfortunately that was not the case AT ALL. My car was driven in reverse about 40 yards into the woods. The paint was damaged along with my bumpers, heat exchanger, radiator and, radiator support. They tell me everything's going to be fixed except a few things; my window regulator seats a rusted radiator support and a coolant leak. I was to pick up the car on 12/23. I was COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED and did not take the car. The interior door handles were not on, bumper was not fitting correctly, my window wouldnt go up, my heat exchanger was still damaged and, a coolant leak had started.
Doug took note of all of this and he told me that they would get it all handled.
A few days pass and they tell me that the leak, heat exhanger and, "rusted"metal is ALL PRIOR DAMAGE and will not be getting fixed... Rust...Dont worry it is still drivable just watch coolant levels....They said we will get you an estimate on how much the leak will cost to fix... Never happend...
I picked the car up today, window now up and nothing else done per Dougs " we'll get it handled" Start the car and begin the ride home. Everything's fine until 3/4th of the way to my house my begins to car overheat... I have no choice but to fill radiator with water and limp home... Before it was stolen my daily driving 2004 Cobra NEVER showed signs of even remotely overheating is now not able to make it on a 30 minute drive home. All because this trash shop wanted to say my car was damaged and not basicaly saying it was not drivable (for distance)prior to being stolen. Just a pure joke and I have half a mind to sue for neglect. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Seems to me they will chalk it up to "prior" damage and send you on your way.
