Used car purchase
I was in the Elder Hyundai dealership last week to look at a used vehicle I had found on line. Jesus Chaires was the salesman I met with. As a long time Honda driver I was out of my element at a Hyundai dealership, but this is where I found my new ( to me ) Honda. As a senior citizen I was anxious to be out looking at cars by myself. I must say that Jesus, as well as Jon and Chris went out of their way to put me at ease. They listened patiently to all my questions and concerns, and worked with me to reach a deal I was satisfied with, and no high pressure tactics! I drove away with my new ( to me ) Honda, feeling confident I had made a good decision. I must add they had many fine looking Hyundai's as well.

Exemplary service from a wonderful service advisor.
Grant Freestone is an asset to Elder Hyundai's service advisor team.
I came in for an oil change and was able to hear the kindest, most thoughtful service advisor while I was waiting. It was Grant, speaking with another customer, truly being an example of how to treat people in this world. He took the time to acknowledge any concerns, was genuine and honest in his responses, and went above and beyond to make the customer feel taken care of and never feel taken advantage of.
As for my vehicle, it was completed quicker than estimated (great job Brad!), and Grant was a pleasure during checkout. He even performed a little paint touchup for me, again, above and beyond service.

No help in expediting service.
We had planned on a Sunday to drive back to Georgia the following day due to commitments at home, but sprang a coolant leak in our Genesis. We had it towed to this dealership in hopes that they repair it quickly and get on our way. When I called the service department the next morning, they told me it would be 24 to 48 hours before they would even look at it. No offer to try to work with us in a sticky situation, just told us we had to wait. We had the car towed to an independent repair shop, and a few hours later we were on the road.

Fabulous service from a great salesman
Spoke to Ty Bandy at 4 pm on Friday night, left at 6 owning a pre-owned truck. The service from Ty Bandy and team Elder Hyundai was fabulous!! The next vehicle we buy/lease will definitely be through Ty Bandy. He's friendly, professional, and takes his time to answer all questions. Even goes above and beyond to send pictures of our new to us vehicle, helps with finding accessories too! Even after we left the dealership!

Look elsewhere for service
My husband and I both own Hyundai cars that we bought at the same time. Our cars are only a couple of years old. Over the span of a year and a half my husband and I repeatedly tried to have service inspect our cars for a problem with the steering. Both cars were exhibiting the same worsening symptoms. We were advised that it wasn't a problem and all of the cars do that, so no need for an appointment. After researching the issue we found that there was a technical service bulletin for this exact thing. We again brought it to the attention of the service department and asked for an appointment. We were told they had no idea what we were referring to and if we wanted to make an appoint and they found nothing wrong we would have to pay almost $200 to have the vehicle inspected (which we basically took as a means of trying to deter us from making an appointment). At this point we were not comfortable having the service done at this dealership. I called another local dealer and the difference in how we were treated was amazing. We didn't have to try to plead our case about what was wrong with the vehicle, we didn't have to beg for an appointment, they were knowledgeable of the bulletin regarding the steering and said it is very common companywide, and they also said absolutely it would be covered under warranty. We made our appointments at this other dealer and they replaced the faulty parts on both cars and had us in and out in a couple hours. I know Hyundai is a great company with wonderful cars. It is a shame Elder Hyundai is putting a black mark on the Hyundai name.

Wish I lived closer
I have always been more than satisfied with the Service at Elder Hyundai. My only problem is that I live so far away that I am unable to 'drop off' my vehicle because it is just too many miles to ask someone to follow me. Therefore, scheduling an appointment is very important.

Above & Beyond Service Experience
Took my Hyundai Sonata to Elder Hyundai in Macomb for a routine oil change and tune-up, found out that my vehicle had some engine problems that was part of a recall. The dealership took steps to ensure that my vehicle received the attention it deserved and replaced my engine along with some additional updates. Everyone I spoke with at this location including the Service Manager was awesome. Thanks to Craig the Award Winning Service Supervisor & Guru at Elder Hyundai for helping me select and purchase of such an great vehicle.
