Extremely frustrating experience
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Dublin Hyundai service. I leased my Ioniq 6 last December, and at around 7,000 miles, the rear tire was ripped apart in middle of road in heavy traffic. I spent $500 replacing the tires at American Tire. I reported the issue to Dublin Hyundai in August during my service appointment, where they performed a multi-point inspection but never mentioned anything about the wheel alignment.

Just two months later, at 9,000 miles, the new tires were completely worn down. When I brought it in, they claimed it might be due to wheel alignment. Despite having a factory warranty, they insisted that the issue was caused by external factors and refused to honor the warranty. Instead, they quoted me $1,000 for wheel alignment and the replacement of both tires. I tried to argue, but they were firm in blaming me and refused to offer any discount.

I then took my car to American Tire in Dublin, and they were sympathetic to my situation. They offered a significant discount and fixed the issue, charging me just $450 for the wheel alignment and both tire replacements.
Additionally, my passenger door handle became faulty, and when I requested warranty coverage, they gave me the same excuse — it was caused by "external factors" and wouldn't be covered. They quoted me $1,250 for repairs.

In my experience, Dublin Hyundai service seems to prioritize making money off customers rather than honoring factory warranties or addressing legitimate concerns. Their management should focus more on customer satisfaction. I will never return to Dublin Hyundai service again.

Great Service!
When you visit Dublin Hyundai/Genesis, be sure you ask for Nick Khosabas. Nick is patient, kind, knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor, and he’s not annoying like salespeople can be. From the moment he stepped to me and asked how he could help me, unti I drove off in my “new” vehicle, it was an enjoyable partnership. If only all of our car buying experiences could be like this …

service for my chevy
The service department was attentive and friendly. I brought my Chevy in for a maintenance service and they honored my request and purchased factory parts from the Chevy store down the street. I do not care for the service at Chevy so I tried Dublin Hyundai, excellent! I needed more work done on my car and was heading out of town. I received the car back on 7/22/22, it took a few extra days because Dublin Chevy ordered parts for a Suburban (they were given the VIN) even though it is an Equinox, hence why I do not service my car there! Give Dublin Hyundai a chance, they are honest and work with you. Special shout out to George Youhana(Service Director) for getting involved and getting the parts corrected and reaching out to let us know!

Poor Service Department Experience
I had my car serviced recently and the service advisor was not interested in doing their job that day apparently. I would have thought that customer service was their main priority. I presented a coupon for an oil change and they didn't honor the coupon. Very disappointed in the service advisor experience!

Frustration, lack of interst on Hyundai's part."
I was in there in Feb. You needed to order a part I needed to fix my door so it would open. Staff said they would call me within a week (That was Feb. 9th,) Have not heard. Meantime, I have called twice, since I need to have my tires checked, and was wondering where my part for my door might be. No response, no messages, no calls.
I also chatted with the online app woman, who said I would be contacted within a few days. That was two-three weeks ago.

For part below: Do you mean the car or your service deptartment?

I love my Hyundai, don't like your service.

Worst Service Visit Ever
Kept waiting 90 mins by a service advisor who appeared to have no clue how to do his job. After finding a manager I left without completing any paperwork. Multiple calls to find out the status just went to voicemail. Dealership is like a morgue; I wouldn’t be surprised if it closes soon.

Service department is severely resource-constrained - poor customer service is the result
I brought in my vehicle for several safety recalls, maintenance and a "check engine light" condition.
Appointments were at least two months out.

The personnel situation appears to be in great flux at Dublin Hyundai. I went through two Service Advisors (they were unavailable later for various reasons), ultimately relying on the Service Director (George) to make progress with my repair. I guess that's the reason there were was minimal proactive contact about the status of my car's repairs. I consistently had to reach out by phone and visit the service department to find out what was going on with my vehicle.

Part delays apparently delayed the repair further. But it was finally repaired (again, I had to reach out to confirm this).
The vehicle return was relatively smooth, though there were adjustments needed on the bill.
But sadly, the repair didn't actually resolve the "Check Engine Light" issue. I can understand that sometimes it's like peeling an onion... but numerous attempts via e-mail to figure out the next step have gone unanswered. They have a long way to go to get to an acceptable level of customer service, in my opinion.

No Communication
I sat waiting for my car to be serviced for 4 hours and did not get any communication for when my car would be completed and when I asked for an update I did not get any form of an update where my car was.

Had an appointment for 2:30pm my car sat untouched for 2 hrs. When I questioned if it was done they said it was next. Then 20 mins later it was ready. If it took 20 mins to fix why did I have to wait 2 hrs.
