Beware!
Had vehicle diagnosed by the service department. Was told I needed an engine due to exhaust valve chipped and scraped engine. Had heads checked at Motor shop and they checked good. Dealership wanted to sell me a used motor for 10,000. When I brought this information to the Service department manager and discussed reimbursement for expenses incurred by me for their misdiagnosis and having to have engine work done by a third party to discover this, the Service manager pulled out 500 cash from his wallet and tried to pay me off from pursuing a fair solution. This was the most humiliating treatment I have ever received in my life, like I was some cheap flim flam artist trying to make a buck. If this is how Don Franklin treats a customer who has bought new vehicles and previously had my vehicles serviced by them it shows a complete lack of respect on their part and I question their honesty and ethics.

Worst service I've ever experienced
So I had an appointment with Don Franklin Hyundai in Lexington KY where I was to have my cv axle replaced. I had had the passenger side replaced prior and told them in advance my riverside needed to be checked as it was making noise also. They changed the passenger side not the driver side. Went in for my service for the driver side and mind you they fixed the passenger side in a couple hours. They had my vehicle for for 9 days and on the 9th day they decide to finally start on my vehicle. I called and left voice-mails also text them and asked the status of my vehicle no response till Friday I called and told them I'm coming to pick up my vehicle. Also I asked them to check into getting me a new headlight as my passenger side is getting so much moisture in it. I was told Hyundai allows their vehicles to get moisture inside the light. So they did nothing about that. So currently driving a new vehicle with moisture in the headlights.

Terrible service department for Hyundai.
We are leasing a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and we’d like the car but it has more bugs than Motel6. Service is terrible: one has to wait for an appointment for weeks and even if the car reapair takes days they don’t offer a loaner car. Since we have only one car they do not offer ride home and they do not offer taxi reimbursement. They are curt, bordering on rude.
However, the sales department is *****.

Good sales team, horrible finance dept
The sales team was actually very helpful, but I gave them 3 specific banks to run with finance and I was sick so not firing on all cylinders. When I got to finance they gave me as my lowest rate some bank I’ve never heard of Northwestern or something at a rate of 5.59% at 72 months. I’m moderately better today so I called my preferred banks at least one of which I know they do business with, Members Heritage and my rate should have been 3.25% before auto deposit and other discounts. To say that i’m displeased is the largest understatement of my life. Slight avarice is to be expected but complete fraud is outside my wheelhouse when dealing with auto dealership. My brother and another friend were interested in buying the same car, but obviously I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Don Franklin.

I've been pleased with service I receive when I take my vehicle in to the Don Franklin Service Dept. I'm always greeted by friendly personnel upon my arrival for service. Kyle usually checks me in. This time it was Cameron. He was very courteous, friendly and efficient before and after my vehicle was serviced. I appreciate the kindness shown to me on each visit. Unfortunately, I don't find that everywhere. Thank you so much!
