Vérifié ClientIn this case, the customer was informed that the transmission had issues of not shifting properly, it needed to be replaced. We acknowledge that the transfer case had been replaced 2 years ago. These are 2 very different issues. The transmission had to be taken care of first. This customer was advised of the cost of doing both repairs at the same time. Customer refused the transfer case replacement at that time. DBA installed a used transmission at the customers request. This fixed the transmission issues. Customer was also advised that there is always a risk if buying used a transmission because you have no idea how that transmission was operating when it was removed. There was a re-manufactured transmission available from the dealership at that time however, that option was no longer available. We worked very hard to work out this issue in a time and cost effective manner
