I am fairly new to the area and I had the same mechanic for 10+ years and I felt that I could trust him and I feel very fortunate to have found Darryls garage since I have moved to Gastonia because I feel that I can trust them!!!

Honest & fairly priced
So I took My ladies Kia K5 here. I told them I need an oil change & an alignment(Which they are the cheapest in Gastonia for alignments). When I came to pick the car up they told me that they could do the alignment because her strut is slightly bent & her rack and pinion also has shifted. They said if I want it to be fixed it would be about 2K Alright cool! So I called Kia explained it to them and they said it would be about 5K to fix everything. So moral of the story is they are cheaper with work that would be just as good if not better and you would be satisfied with. Not to mention that they could've said hey we did the alignment and everything you asked for charged me for it and no actual work was done to the vehicle and my lady wouldn't even know because she doesn't pay attention to things like that. So we could've got robbed! But they didn't rob us and was honest with us and was willing to fix it less than the dealership was charging! So I'm rocking with them from now on! And I know (if your still reading this) how much was the total for my ladies car? With the oil change like $80 bucks! With everything that we "wanted" done was like $250-$300 which still isn't bad! So the decision is up to you guys! I hope this was helpful!

Great service that is reasonably priced
I drive a lot of miles doing Uber & Lyft so always on the lookout for a service center that will keep my car safe and in shape at a reasonable cost. Glad I found Darrel's Garage in
Gastonia. My Volvo work car and my wife's Mazda will both be taken here for all of our car service needs from now on.

Never going to this place again. I went to get my car inspected it should not have taken them more the an hour.
Unprofessional of them to have lost my keys as well.
The person at front desk ended up not giving me the right amount of change back stole my money. Definitely got ripped off

Having your keys misplaced would be a disruption and add to the inconvenience, and I can see how that would feel unprofessional. Regarding the change, it’s certainly concerning to hear there was a discrepancy, as accuracy in transactions is essential.
