I was very satisfied with my front end alignment on my Jeep Geand Cherokee. I made an appointment two days in advance and arrived 30 minutes early. The service was performed promptly and thoroughly. I was shown the exact status of the alignment on the monitor reinforcing that it was in spec. I observed the operation in the office for an hour and was impressed with the way business was conducted , how customers were both treated and appreciated. This team conducted itself with professionalism, honesty and efficiency. Many repairs were simultaneously managed in what appeared to be a highly organized and effective way. They inspire confidence in doing good work. The Cost was a below what the chains quoted saving me some doe and was probably faster as well.

Big ripoff!
545 for a starter motor for my truck, total ripoff! We were stranded next door at Value Center supermarket with a no start, no crank, had it towed in. I about fell off my chair next day when manager Joe called and told me I it would be 545 to replace the starter, which had been working fine without any problems before that. Maybe he knew he had me because I couldn't just come in and drive it away to another shop. I told him to go ahead, but I called around the neighboring area, and two other shops in Redford were at 280 and 300. The one at 280 was a NEW AC Delco with a two year warranty. So why don't you explain to me Joe, and tell the public here, why did you charge me an extra 265? Is it because I was stranded? Is that how you gouge people? Well after picking up our vehicle we went back to Value Center and the manager saw us and asked if we got our vehicle fixed, we told her we did it was the starter, she said how much, around 150? We told her the price and she was shocked too, and said she'd spread the word. I hope the owner of Chuck and Dan's Kar Kare reads this and realize that you don't rip off people in the neighborhood you serve, you're biting the hand that feeds you.

Didn’t fix what what asked.
I took my car here too get my AC looked at because there was a leak. I was charged for the dye and a recharge - hot again the next day. Took it to a different mechanic and was told Dan and Chucks never put any dye in to see if there was a leak, just recharged it knowing it wouldn’t fix it. $178 down the drain.

HONESTY AND INTEGRITY
Had our vehicle taken to Joe from another repair facility that was ripping us off! We told Joe what the other shop found wrong. Joe discovered a wire had been taken loose. We were expecting to pay at least 400.00. He called us with a price of 25.00! I don't know of very many mechanics that would have been that honest. Joe, you have earned a customer for life! The best compliment you can give is a referral. I REFERR DAN AND CHUCK'S KARR KARE! They are the best!!!!
Chris said he has been going to this business for many years and he loves those guys. He recommends them to anyone who will listen and they are in a convenient location and easy to get to.
The customer service is wonderful. They genuinely care about getting your vehicle back on the road. They tell you what the problem is, if it's worth fixing(in my case) and they try to find you the lowest price possible
