New vehicle came from factory and air conditioning would not work.
Dealer's Service department had to repair a problem with my new vehicle. The
car came from the factory with a refrigerant leak, where a tube assembly attaches onto the condenser. There was an improperly installed o-ring, that allowed refrigerant to leak out of system. As a result, the cars air conditioning system wouldn't work. It took two trips to the dealership to get issue resolved, under warranty. First trip was for service department to diagnose and find leak. Factory o-rings had to be ordered, and issue was resolved on second trip. I had 250 miles and 10 hours of my own time in getting issue resolved. Hyundai would not compensate me for this. It was a problem caused by improper assembly and testing at factory! The service department did a nice job in repairing the problem. The removal and assembly, to replace the o-rings, was in a very hard to reach spot.
