wonderful experience
My experience in purchasing a 2023 sonata hybrid was terrific. Keith was so helpful and fantastic to work with. I needed a replacement car as my vehicle was totaled in an accident. Keith brought a car to me to test drive. I live in Forsyth county so this was a major trip for Keith. I decided to purchase the car and had a very positive experience at the dealership with the manager and the finance department. I got a great price on the car and the process was so smooth. I have bought many cars in my lifetime and I can affirm that this was the best shopping experience I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle.

Service department experience will keep me from doing any further business with this dealership
Called at least 10 times over a 3 week period to schedule a recall service on my Santa Fe. I left 2 messages with the service department manager and 1 message with the operator. I never received 1 call back from anyone. I was told to be leary of this service department but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt before I went out of town. Unfortunately they lived up to their reputation and I will no longer support this dealership. Paramount Hyundai in Hickory NC answered on my first call and scheduled an appointment for the same week.

There trade for car. All offer was 1. Don't offer me any more. Hope live with yourself . Also skip over me work with another customer.

Very unhappy customer with Hyundai engines!
I own a Hyundai Sante Fe that has about 85,000 miles that I have had for only 3 years and take very good care of and have taken it to this dealership to get serviced ever since I have owned it. I had a recent oil change at this dealership and they didn't see a problem with engine/coolant. Two weeks later, the car started overheating and I took it to a local mechanic (45 min away from this dealership) who told me something was wrong with coolant and recommended I take it back to this Hyundai dealership. When I got there, they told me I was out of coolant and needed a new engine!! Because I am the second owner of this vehicle, I do not have the original warranty and didn't purchase an extended warranty when I purchased the car. I was given no explanation why all of a sudden I needed a new engine just that the head cracked and there was nothing they could do. This car only has 85,000 miles and has been well taken care of. My local mechanic told me it is not normal for a car like this to need a new engine and all of a sudden the engine cracking. This dealership did nothing to help me, reach out to the manufacturer or give me any kind of advice. I had it towed back to where I live to my local mechanic who encouraged me to reach out to the manufacturer or seek legal advice which I am planning to do. I am disappointed with this dealership and its service dept for not having noticed a pb with the engine during the last oil change (2-3 weeks prior to the car heating up) and not helping me whatsoever. I will not be coming back for regular maintenance. They have lost a customer and my trust.

Classic Hyundai of Wilkesboro
Keith was great! The car we originally wanted would not pass inspection and he wouldn't sell it to us. He worked diligently to help us find the right car at the right price for my teenage daughter. He was kind, caring and personable. I enjoyed the experience of purchasing a car from him and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car, no matter your price range! Go see Keith!

Excellent Service
Kudos to Brian in the Service Department! My husband & I were traveling home to Florida when our Low Pressure alert let us know that our back right tire was very low on our 2020 Santa Fe. We used our GPS to get to the closest Hyundai dealership, which was this one in Wilkesboro. We, of course, had no appointment, but Brian greeted us and helped with our 'emergency'. He immediately got our car into a bay, checked the tires & added air. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring. We made it home with no additional mishaps. Thank you to Brian!!

Very disappointed sales service
On Saturday, March 5, 2022 my son had an appointment at Classic Hyundai of North Wilkesboro at 10 am to test drive a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited AWD Crew Cab Pickup in a Sage Gray color. Earlier in the week he was on chat with a lady about the vehicle. She said it was available and sent him a picture and the VIN of the vehicle. Since he has planned to test drive the Santa Cruz and if he liked it he wanted to purchase the vehicle right then. He hadn't planned on trading his car in and therefore asked us, his parents, to be there too so one of us can drive his Sonata home. Our son drove 1 hour to get to the dealership and we drove also 1 hour there coming from a different direction. At 10 am we all arrived at the dealership and there was no Santa Cruz Limited on the lot. Only a Santa Cruz SEL. We talked to
3 different sales men and all of them told us that they don't have the vehicle. It was located at their dealership in Virgina and is sold. The sales men were all very nice and apologetic. How can something like that happen? After a chat with the lady online and setting up an appointment for a test drive we were giving that unbelievable news. Not only did our son and we drive 1 hour to get to the dealership,1hour each way, but we wasted all of the gas and with today's prices something like that is not okay. Furthermore, just now one day later, I checked the website of Classic Hyundai of North Wilkesboro and it still shows 2 Santa Cruz Limited in Sage Gray IN STOCK. This kind of customer service is unacceptable! I will know better from now on and not consider Classic Hyundai anymore when I buy another vehicle.

Awful customer service
The service department is a complete joke. They don’t have their crap together. Not professional at all. They never respond to phone calls, nobody is ever available to speak with, How do you lose the keys to a customers car? Because they sure did lose mine.

My service advisor Josh, made it a positive experience.
My greatest dissatisfaction was with Hyundai. I drove over an hour from my home to the dealership to have a recall diagnostic performed on the vehicle’s engine. Apparently, due to problems at Hyundai, I had to return three times before the diagnostic could be completed.
