went to this place Wednesday Aug 11th 2021 to get some work done on my manual transmission. Blond clueless woman working there was asking me if the car was automatic after I told her I need some clutch work done. thats when I was suspicious in this person competence of dealing with customers or basic knowledge of vehicles.
I asked for an estimate and the same day this blond woman didn't called back because she forgot to write down my phone number. I went back the next day and she told me the estimate amount without looking at the vehicle or how sounds the manual transmission on the car and she didn't consulted a mechanic about the parts etc.
I told them what specific parts I bought for my manual trans vehicle and need replacement only on what I purchased and she made an appointment Monday around 8am. because of this appointment Wednesday afternoon I stopped looking other repair shops and put my trust in Christensen.
Dropped the car Monday 8am so 4-5 days after the estimate and came back Monday before closing and they haven't even touched the car. not sure if it was important but when I was leaving the keys Monday at 8am this blond woman said she forgot to put the data in the computer when I made the appointment Wednesday the 11th, I was like WTF is this.
the blond woman was giving some excuses and said Tuesday will be finished. came Tuesday and the car was still sitting there. so almost a week after the estimate nothing was moving.
the blond woman came out from the office and was telling me some parts are missing and I asked why u didn't call, this is ridiculous and she turned around and went in the office and a guy working there came out with my keys.
talked to the manager but as a manager he doesn't care and just listens to whatever people say.
extremely not professional, extremely not organized or coordinated. no communication at all, rude blonde crackhead woman.
I told the manager I only need the parts replaced that I brought but he said they cant do that on which I replied why an appointment was made and I was waiting 1 week to be told that. I can go somewhere else and not waste time with Christensen. In order to get respect u have to give it and be careful with that crackhead blond woman.
a friend of mine warned me about this uneducated blond crackhead woman but I didn't listen.
not to forget the guy who gave me the keys said that I won't be charged anything and I replied "charged for what" ?, "for wasting 1 week of my time " and dealing with incompetent crackhead blonde"?
I was respectful but when I saw that this blonde crackhead is lying and treats the customer like a trash I just fired back.
2 cars were going there for regular maintenance but not any more. south lake tahoe sucks more one day after the other with these entitled local businesses. the way Christensen "works" now I hope they go out of business very soon. time to go to Carson City and find a place that can do the basics of business
