Poor Customer Loyalty
My daughter and I have had Hyundai cars since 2013. Then with this last purchase I have had issue after issue. The first time I took my car in for the first service and a hose had to be replaced. Luckily that same day I was put in a loaner and then went back after two days and all was done. Second time, my car was making a lot of noise and I took it to the dealership right away. All was different this time. I was told to leave the car and I’d get a call the next day but no call. I was never given an explanation of the problem, my concerns were never addressed and I never got a rental. I didn’t get my car back till over a week after I dropped it off. Now I’m having another issue and all I’ve received is the run around. I have to leave the car for 7 to 10 days without a rental and then who knows how long it will take to fix it. All this should not be happening. The car is 2 years old, I drive it less than 20 miles on weekdays and only 15 miles for church on the weekends. I was given a LEMON! Make it right Hyundai!

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid died and needed to be towed to dealership
Henry Palacios worked with me over the phone and gave me an approximate date of when my car would be looked at. He kept me apprised of the possible repairs needed, approximate costs and what was covered under my warranty. I have worked with Henry many times before and he goes the extra mile to make sure my car is taken care of in a timely manner. I am very happy to work with Henry as he is conscientious and hard working.

Long turnaround time for diagnosis
Dealer said to diagnose the steering column having resistance problem, I will have to leave my car with them for at least 3 business days, that translates to 5 days. That forced me to abandon diagnosing and possibly fixing the car. What good is the Hyundai warranty if it’s dealer can’t diagnose on a simple problem in a reasonable turnaround time? I guess that the catch of Hyundai promising longer warranty than Toyota and Honda.

Check engine light on again
I came in because my check engine light came on again in my 2020 Hyundai accent. Since it's still under warranty I took it back to the dealership where I got it; It stayed for 5 days. My car was ready on Friday March 11th, but I couldn't make it until the 14th to pick up. I left Hyundai, drove down Capitol, got on 87 North and as soon as I was up to speed I heard a rumbling coming from the front of my car. I thought the hood was loose and about to fly up and smash my windshield. I pulled over before the Curtner exit and checked. The hood was fine and I didn't see anything so I got back in and started to get up to speed and merge back into traffic. I heard the sound again but this time scraping and rumbling. I knew what it was and pulled over again under the Almaden underpass to confirm. Sure enough my skid plate was hanging down in the front and it was scraped from being dragged on the freeway. The tech who worked on my car forgot to replace the clips to my skid plate and it was now damaged. It was after 5pm so Hyundai service was closed, and I don't have towing so I had to drive home (Taylor exit) with the plate scraping on the freeway the whole way. Since I have a garage with tools I was able to get home and put my car up on ramps so that I could get under it to take pictures, and to see what I could "fix" until Hyundai could replace my skid plate. I had to use zip ties to hold the plate to the frame where the clips would be, and drill holes where the clip holes were broken from being scraped on the freeway. I called and left a message the following morning (15th) and got a response from my service advisor telling me that they would make things right and order my part right away. I told him I didn't have time or money to leave my car again (the "free" rental was $20/day for insurance that I had to pay out of pocket), so he said it would only take a few min and he'd call when the part arrives. Today is March 27th and I still have a broken skid plate. Don't know if my plate never arrived, or this is just too minor of an issue since my zip ties are doing the job so far..

Not their best day.
Took a couple of months in advance to schedule a safety recall. There wasn't any communications beyond the initial contact. Dropped my car off in the morning and told it would be about 2 hours. I reached once 3 hours later and another an hour or so later with no communication back. I just went back before they were closed and they said the work had been completed. It seemed like they didn't have the staff to handle the amount of people. This wasn't the normal experience

Charging for the free services
For the first couple of services which are usually free of charge, they charge me for that saying i have some extra miles. And beyond that they gave me serivce slots 2 months later and didn’t even inform me at that time that this would be the case. It’s their duty to let their customer know before giving them the services. Or else give them some early slots so that they don’t exceed their miles.
