Lack of Professionalism
I brought my truck in to have the rear fuel tank replaced due to it leaking along the seam. I was quoted a price. When I brought the truck in they were not able to get the tank and pump due to the parts shop no longer carried it. They were able to find a replacement for $75 more. I was fine with that. After 4 days they called for me to pick up the truck. The final cost was higher than the second quote. When I asked if the tank had gas I was told no. I asked the how did they leak ck the tank,fittings and op ck the pump. I was told if I didn't ask for them to do that then they wouldn't have. I was told to fill it with gas and if it leaks bring it back. The he said does that make sense. I said no it didn't but okay and turned to walk away when the attendant called me a curse word. I asked did you really just call me that and he indignantly said yes because I was acting like one. Talking with the owner did not resolve. Very unprofessional. Lessons learned: Don't question their work or they will become rude. If you have a part that handles fluids you are required to ask them to full ck it out or they will only do the install. And good customer service is not their best attribute
