My 1991 Ford Explorer sounded like it needed a new Torque Convertor and possible Transmission overhaul with 260,000 miles on the Transmission. The rumble strip noise was found to be caused by a loose bolt on a flange at the rear Differential. The cost was negligible to repair, but some shops might have taken advantage of this and I never would have known the truth. Mechanical expertise was required to find the real problem. After going to a big national chain repair shop I came to calvert. They were very friendly and helpful . They fixed my car for less than half of what the other place wanted. They are an honest fair shop. Highly recommend.

I was refered to Calvert's by life long resident of Denton. They are by far the very best honest, reliable,professional automotive repair shop I have done busines( I'm 60). It is the only place that I will let repair my truck. Honestly,their is NO ONE better in the auto repair business. I highly recommend them for all your automotive repair needs. I was referred to Calverts by a born and raised Denton man. Even with that I didn’t expect a lot when I walked through those doors. Was I surprised!!!! A check engine light could mean anything I asked for the worst case scenario Daniel gave it to me. The day came he did the work and my bill was less than 20 percent of worst case scenario now that’s an honest mechanic

Honest and Excellent Service
I was introduced to Calverts several years back after my Nissan Titan failed to pass emissions inspection at a lube shop. I took my truck to a local muffler shop for the emissions issue and was referred to Calverts. I scheduled an appointment with Calverts the following Monday. In the mean time I took it to the local Nissan dealership who gave me $4000.00 estimate that called for replacing everything in the exhaust system. I decided to keep my appointment and get a second opinion from Calverts. On Monday after examining my vehicle Calverts told me that I would need to replace my gas cap ($15.00) so the correct the emissions error and pass the inspection. I have been with them ever since
